  1. Just thinking, football being a funny old game and all that. What will the reaction be among people calling for the manager to be sacked after three league games should we pull away from Tynecastle with a point, or three..?
i mean obviously as the poor performances  are completely down to the manager, the logic of some will dictate a draw or a win would be 'inspite' of the manager.... it will be a good laugh reading the hand wringing posts should we get something at Tynecastle.
How did that work out for you?
  2. The original poster does have a point
However I am terrified by the fact that someone on our coaching team saw Cole Kpekewa and thought has was a footballer AND that he was good enough to employ as a footballer AND good enough to play in the first team playing squad AHEAD of Jack Baird.  Also if you recall we have been lead to believe that Gary MacKenzie was told he WAS NOT good enough and yet Cole Kpekewa IS!

On Saturday Cole Kpekewa looked entirely like a bloke pulled of the street and asked to play, he is not a footballer and whoever scouted him and whoever signed him should not be employed in the football industry.

Cammy Smith is also a cracking player, only a complete idiot would drop him (also only an idiot would allow Cole Kpekewa to play as detailed above).
Stubbs is that idiot, that idiot indeed.
  3. We slag livi and rightly so, there is something wrong there with that asst manager interviewing for the managers position and the Kenny Miller debacle but one thing they did right was to have a probation clause in the contract, Kenny Miller bombed out without cost, now they may be proved right or wrong to trigger the probation clause, but they had one. I'll bet our chairman and chief exec wish they'd included one in a 3 year contract, if they had Stubbs taxi would have the engine running in greenhill Rd now

  4. We should be prepared and capable though. We have sold several players for decent fees, got the best part of a million for the sell on of John McGinn, more decent  prize money for winning the Championship,  sold out the family stand to the Old Firm (to fund more players) and got compensation for Jack being a bit of a sneaky bastard. Open the fekn biscuit tin.
Easy to say, but if the biscuit tin's opened surely you wouldn't trust Stubbs to spend it wisely
  5. The step up to the Premiership was always going to be tough,  even without a change of manager. The board chose AS as the best candidate.  Have they made a mistake?  Possibly,  but IMO it's too early to tell. The League looks even more likely to split into two mini leagues of 6 than in recent seasons.  I worry when I hear supporters suggesting that players are actively showing disrespect to the manager.  This never ends well under a weak board.  This is a test of nerve for the board,  management,  players and supporters.  It's not a time to press the panic button.  That might come,  but is not yet here.  We face two top teams in our next two games.  Time to hold tight.
Hold tight to what? The main success last season was galvanising players and fans, creating an atmosphere, making our home a bit of a fortress, cleverly making sure if we went a go all behind the fans would rally and cheer the team on, this season we're holding tight to a omnishambles and the fans will turn when we go goal down because they know that Stubbs hasn't the ability to turn it round. Like others on here when JR was failing there was something inside that thought he could still turn it round, I have no such feelings now.
  6. Stick to team selections..................
    TBF you're simplifying the matter.
There are people who scrape around to find a negative angle o Stubbs, have done since day one.
Different, and there are decent posts stating concerns, from constructive viewpoints.
You just know my team selections are better than Stubbs has managed, not that I'm a Stubbs hater [emoji12]
