Alex Ferguson - argued with just about every fucker he's come into contact with - he'd fit right in on BAWA!
Edit - who's this Burt bloke?
I blame my fa
rt finger! -
* I'll bet there were people saying "Who the fuck are East Stirling & what's this guy Ferguson done?" 30 years ago!
"Aye. Burt what's he done since we sacked him?", I ask you!

No red dot Shull.
Just astonishment in that someone beat you to starting this thread.

Gut feeling...
Open Top Bus Parade as we celebrate being...
SPFL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS
PETROFAC TRAINING CUP WINNERS.
The real Shull is back!
Optomist or fantasist?..... Or both?

I wouldn't touch Sally with your bargepole!
Kenny McDowell would be like bringing TC back. Coach. NOT manager.

With cheesy's £20k per week wages off the cash flow we could sign somebody who is actually worth the money ie: an actual goal scorer, a nutcase who doesn't wind up referees in centre mid and a brick wall centre half. In my view cheesy actually looked awkward even kicking a ball. Apparently he wants to go abroad for his next challenge??!! Really?? The only time he will go abroad for a challenge is if he can down a fishbowl in Benalmadena on his holidays.
Don't count on it.
I have it on good authority his pension is £25,000 a week!

Unfortunately, we're now in a horrible situation where we're getting excited about cherry picking the bottom team in division one's best players.
Folk were pissed off when we were doing it with the likes of Dundee and Hamilton....but Livingston FFS?
One person saying we COULD take some of their better players is hardly a sign of getting excited FFS.
Talk about mountains and molehills?

Nope, he seems to be a cancer at the heart of dressing room unrest. (Source dodgy).
I don't know about a "cancer" but I know he was bitching about the lack of effort from the team when he was in the dome watching his lad play.

I'm going against the grain here in thinking that Ball will get another gig, get motivated, and score goals when played in his correct position with wingers delivering crosses for him.
I agree that it was a shame Osborne was injury prone but that was known prior to us signing him.

Celtic manager gets it off his chest!
In a no holds barred interview following Celtics cup final defeat which robbed them of a chance at the treble, the manager tells it as it is!
Reports coming in that the scene is being replicated throughout the country by fans who love to mimic their boss with all the originality of trained chimpanzees!
Feck me! Did they get cheated in the final too?

HappyLucky Birthday auldn yin. -
We are better than that, Sonny.
Why do we have to seek revenge on other Clubs who we think have done us a bad turn.
Act with class and dignity.
Do not copy .
Charge both sets of fans a tenner or less.
This is Sport.
We ARE the same as anyone else.
Fact is that most who pay at the gate will likely choose to do anything but go to
NewSaint Mirren Park. The club is a business with bills to pay. they are gambling on the away support turning up to aid their team in a bid to escape the play off spot. Good business sense IMO.
IF the miracle begins to happen for us and we win with Motherwell losing and that game becomes meaningful then the home support may surge with no affect on the away support level. Win-win for our BoD's. And god knows we don't hear that word used down Greenhill Road too often these days

I decided in my wisdom to get the open top bus tour and get off at the stadium as I thought a taxi would be too expensive.
That seemed like a good plan, but it took about 3 hours to get there, so like FTOF, my missus was raging by the time we got there.
I couldn't find the St.Mirren thing either.
Took a taxi home. Took about 10 mins. Missus slapped me about the dish.
On my first trip to Barcelona I did the same thing. I had a cunning plan though. I took the lower open top bus tour first stopping off at all the touristy sites for pictures to appease the missus thinking we could then switch to the other route and I could get longer in the stadium. NOW. The only time the museum was closed was for matchdays and public holidays. Being a Wednesday with no game planned I knew all would be OK. Unfortunately, as I found out, the Wednesday in question was a holiday and the stadium was closed half day. Lucky white heather!
No point wasting the opportunity topost something so, there I was, standing outside the ground with the stadium layout behind me and me pointing glumly. Great comedy value for facebook? Well perhaps not. On the last day of the hols my missus gets her bag pinched, passports and camera inside! Lucky FREKIN@ white heather, get your lucky white....................

I agree with the gist of your post, but as Bluto doesn't appear to be reading this I feel it's up to me to point this out.
The reason is perfectly straight forward.. the s is redundant.
John McGinns' career has stalled, there is, after all, only one John McGinn currently employed by St Mirren Football Club.
I feel better now.
Confused? You will be after the next episode of syntax.
John McGinn's career may have stalled. If there were more than one then "John McGinns' careers may have done so.

Now I feel better!

FIFY.
I'm afraid you weren't "Dead on time" with this Bluto!
Rowan Atkinson?
He could manage the has-beans!

Feck me!
Where are all these aliases coming from?

No, it typifies everything that's wrong with us this season!! Posts on this forum have given credence to teales failures based on selling our best player on deadline day! That is true yes. But was he that good a player, or above average in a very poor side? My perspective is, McLean is decent, but average. My opinion is based on his record at Aberdeen, since he's been in the squad, they have stagnated, and he hasn't produced to the the heights he was at St mirren!
Heights reached as he was a cut above the shite we have, but in real terms is the SPFL, average. Not wanting to labour the point, just replying to a piss poor retort to a previous statement. Djemba Djemba would have looked a half decent player in the Saints team this year!! As positive as I've tried to remain, the whole lot collectively, well or poorly managed, have been rank, and anyone standing out has proven only that they are not completely incompetent in their chosen position on the pitch!!
Sorry Buddo but....What a load of bull!
Firstly, as has already been pointed out, Kenny is playing in a different position for the Dons.
Secondly. This nonsense your spouting about a player looking good because of his teamates inabilities is a complete red herring. He affected positively games AGAINST the similar opposition we are playing now. That's what you base his abilities on. Not his teamates FFS.
-
Voted for first team players, the POTY should always be about first team players, if you want to then have separate votes for younger squads. by all means have a special award for the young lad Aaron due to his courage, but don't break with tradition, we have lost too much tradition in having to move to Greenhill road.
Special year BC

Aaron first. Then Kenny and Yaqub would have been next if availlable as he's had no part in the debacle.

heRd from a good source RA will be our next manager
Rowan Atkinson?
He could manage the has-beans!

Shite season, Shite strips , Nae game for me at the dome since december.......... then just as i thought rock bottom had been reached.
MY WIFE HAS JUST DROPPED & SMASHED MY ST.MIRREN MUG !!!
when will it end ?
No worries mate.
If you go down to Saint Mirren Park on matchday you'll see at least eleven mugs on a regular basis.

Neither Motherwell or Ross County broke the bank in January, far from it. Instead they signed wisely and have transformed their seasons as a result.
Motherwell signed a few players on loan but also added Pearson and McDonald. I don't know how much they would cost in wages.
As for Ross County. They parted company with more than a few "by mutual consent" and brought in six new players whose salary demands are unknown but at least two were transfers between clubs and at least one commanded an "undisclosed fee".
Something our club could ill afford. Especially after shipping out as many of our underacheivers as we could.
This said. I still think the BoDs made a clusterf*ck of it by not digging as deep as they could to ensure we had a manager wotrthy of the title.
-
He's still got a year left on his contract though hasn't he? Would Dundee pay the money for him?
As much as he has been poor this season he was our best player by a country mile the year before so I would love to keep him, he has the potential to be the best player in the Championship. As others have said though I wouldn't blame him for going to Dundee if he got thec hance.
I thought his contract was up at the end of this season.
If so and we offer him another on we'll be due a developement fee should he choose to move on.

De nada.
It is an excellent tour/museum. Think it took about 3 hours as we read and visited everything.
Oh and there not keen on you taking any personal photo's. Try and use others to block out the view of the guides/stewards to take any photo's to save a few pounds on there official ones.
I was there last year and they didn't seem to mind personal pics. I got photos of me with my Saints top and the Barca crest on the pitch behind me. As well as my one and only selfie in the press box with the stadium in the background.
As for the Saints memorabilia. I went round three times and didn't find anything. I was minus my specs mind you.
