  1. Shame to see him go, a good lad.  Was an especially important player over the festive season when he was able to move to centre half.

All the best (except when you play us), All the best (except when you play us) indeed.

  2. Well done Tony, well deserved, well deserved indeed.

Now who says we should stop at that?

I shall throw some ideas out there

    The Jock Bradford goal net

The Israel Campbell Money goal net (we have two nets)

    The Mark Yardley burger bar

    The Gerry Baker penalty spot

The Davie Lapsley penalty spot (see the nets)

The James Daddy Dunlop centre spot

The Aaron Mooy corner flag (next to where his bike sat)

    The BAWA corner flag

The Div corner flag (for services rendered to the exciting digital world of the average scheme dwelling Buddie)

The Kieran Ragg corner flag (because it rhymes)

    The Kevin Twaddle physio room

    The Codey Cooke subs bench

The Tony Mowbray away subs bench (it was the last one he sat on in THAT job)

    The Jens Peaslack burglar alarm

The Cambell Kennedy TV remote off button

The Jimmy Bone tea cake box

    The Alan Wardrop door mat

The Jose Quitongo toilet roll holder

    The Billy Stark car park

    The James Gardener urinal

Was that really the best comeback you could muster?  When all is said and done can you, hand on heart can say that you gave that your very best?  When next you gaze at yourself in the mirror can you see a go getter staring back at you?  When you are in the pub youth club with your mates can you truthfully boast that you gave old Tom what for?

I thinketh not young chap, I thinketh not indeed.

They may as well ban corner kicks as well. No point in having them if no one's allowed to head the ball.

Seems bizarre to me that rugby union players should be allowed to continue tackling opponents since colliding head-first into another burly human being has got to be more damaging than heading an air-filled bag of leather.

Ach f*ck it, let's just ban everything.

There is a reason why aggressive hard men like yersel are known as a

    "heid the baw"

Head that ball Wilbur, head that ball indeed

Glenn with 2 nn's - not for me!

Wee Gus is all over this.

If we don't get Glen then we will go for Hutchison and if we cannae get Hutchison we go for Robertson and if we cannae get Robertson we will bring in a big lad called Stepek,  So its Glen, Hutchison, Robertson or Stepek!

If we were to get all four I would go pure Radio Rental!

We don't need to buy any of them, you essentially "loan them" by paying £5.65 per week, so in essence you rent them, like a rental boy or whatever the proper term is for a boy you rent.

  6. The window is almost upon us, the time for action doth approach.

What positions will be stengthened?  Who will come ? Who will leave?

All questions that we could start to discuss/answer from today.

Meaning that everything typed in this thread up until now is and alwayd was irrelevent.

Happy New Year when it comes Buddies, im away on a wee pensioners trip for the bells, happy new year indeed.

    What an outstanding achievement.

Well done SIr, well done indeed.

PS I read the thread, the human race is a strange old thing.  So many good things going on and one massive bell end.  I suppose the character scrooge has to be based on someone!!!

Oh and I forgot to add

Merry Christmas every Buddie, Merry Christmas every Buddie indeed

So the political divide has become a geographical one

scotland looking to take it’s future forward as an independent nation aligned to Europe

R UK has looked out the cutlass and the spyglass for a life on the 7 seas

I don’t know how anyone in Scotland can celebrate this

it’s the end of so much of what we know  The British Isles will never be the same

The Island of Britian and the smaller Island off "the big wan" will be unchanged.  I simply fail to see why tonights result may mean some sort of seismological event resulting in geographical change.  Bizarre.

Politically however we in Scotland are a kinder, more concious folk than those Tory voting f**ktards south of the border.

Time we shook off the shackles of oppression and left this daft union, time to leave indeed.

PS Only kidding about the seismology thing

  9. The opening post is somewhat underwhelming.

This is a momentous moment in the history of Scottish football, the last bastion of the amateur game "in the big leagues"  has been extinguished, the last flame of a bygone era has finally burnt out, the opening chapter of the Scottish game has finally closed.

A sad day for all Scottish football enthusiasts a sad day indeed.

Queens park have brought so much to the game, not just in Scotland but the world over.  Arguably the Spiders have contributed more to world football than Real Madrid, Juventus and Johnstone Burgh combined (for the ignorant amongst you see crossbars, offside and international football).

    Sad news

They have certainly put a lot of money into British cycling and our first of 3 British TDF winners and as cycling teams go they certainly have been one of the most successful ones . Will another British sponsor wade in and keep the team going?  One thing is certain and that is Les Francaises will be loving this news . .

Did he no used to sing at the Brabloch?

I thought he would have been deid by now........ach well its nice to know he is alright and likes the bikes.  He always did though but that another story!!!!

  11. Lets sack the manager, that has worked SO well in the past.

The problem is not the manager, the problem isnt even LordLookAtMe

The problem is a lack of investment.  Mihai Popescu being an obvious example.  For 30 years now we have scraped the bargain basement, for 30 years our fans season ticket money has returned little, for 30 years we have merely survived and very rarely thrived.  30 years of underachievement. 30 years of our club exploiting the good will of the Paisley public, 30 years of failure.

We were outclassed yesterday and it is no wonder.  We were up against a team whom invests in itself and as such got what was desreved.

On that cheery note, Im away to the cenotaph
