smfcok
Here is some advice for those forum members that are learning about computing rather than a discussion. You should have anti-virus (to keep the bugs out), firewall (to keep visitors out), spyware detection (to stop spyware being installed) and spyware removal (to get rid of any you have) on your machine. If you don’t have this stuff, things will go wrong. If you don’t know what you’re doing, get it done for you and pay the going rate. Installation is at your own risk. Before installing anything from the sites below, read their info on it. If things do go wrong, don’t blame me, I’m only pointing you in the direction of what you should have. Other similar products are available, use a search engine to find them. Free anti-virus is available from AVG at www.grisoft.com/ A free firewall is available (if your system doesn’t have one) at www.zonelabs.com/ Free spy-ware protection (SpywareBlaster) is available from http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/ (think about making a donation) Free spy-ware removal (Spybot-S&D) is available from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html (think about making a donation) Please don't pm me with techie questions. I like to use computers, not fix them. Edited to add the bit about donations. Edited June 27, 2006 by SMFCOK
