  1. Have a "like" for this post, Sir! Unfortunately now I'll be accused of being your alias by you know who!
  2. It never ceases to amaze me how people watch the same match but have very different opinions on it! I personally think it was a very tight game with both sides not anything special. Kilmarnock have been on a decent run lately and travelled to Paisley with a momentum and confidence but despite all the talk of their improvement in performance and results, they didn't look any great shakes to me. The BBC Scotland statistics get slagged off here on a regular basis and then used to have a pop at other forum members by the same people as and when it suits their agenda. We weren't any great shakes either tonight and haven't been for a wee while now with too many people off their game at the same time but at times we made Kilmarnock look like the Brazil 1970 World Cup team. Hopefully the management team can turn things around sooner rather than later because if they can't, then it's going to be a real slog of a season.
  3. Two of the "Bozo Brothers" are ruining Antrin's great thread. Is any thread safe from their trolling and lies?
  4. What a Christmas Eve that was! ☺️ Great to get it up "Durranty" as well!
  5. A "Dunfermline Athletic" style top? It's still nice though. 👍
  6. How many seasons did we use the yellow numbers? Were the commentators of the day able to read the number and know who our players were?
  7. In life I'm a "glass half full" kind of guy. When it comes to St. Mirren and Scotland however I'm a "glass half empty" fella. I go along to support my local team and savour the good times and accept the bad times. It's a football game at the end of the day, other things are important. It's disappointing for an evening or so then it's back to optimism for the next fixture. It's the hope that kills you and my Dad has always said "supporting St. Mirren is character building".
  8. The Manager said on the radio prior to kick-off that Alex Grieve was the best option for the pressing style that he needed from the team today. I wasn't in attendance at the match today and only saw the highlights or should that be "lowlights" but I'm guessing the "pressing" didn't quite go to plan.
  9. Games against the Hearts are usually 50/50. I think we've got a decent record against them have we not? Anyway, "it's the most wonderful time of the year" so let's make mincemeat out of the jambos.
  10. I hope we don't overspend and risk all the lights going out.
  11. What position does this Utility Bills play in and can we afford him?
  12. This thread started off well until three of the four "Bozo Boys" got involved. It would be good to get rid of them both but as Portmahomack Saint says they're not wanted down south. No sane country would welcome all that nonsense.
  13. I've never particularly liked Motherwell as a club and set of supporters. This "Block E" mob come across as aggressive wee tadgers. The pyros make look bright and "cool" to some people but I can live without them. People with asthma can be affected by them and the chemicals that are in them are getting released into the atmosphere. I think a lot of people forgot how to behave during the covid lockdowns and we're seeing a lot more "tadgery" behaviour than ever.
