  1. The games a bogey for Sturgeon. May has told her there wont be another indyref but she has allowed Sturgeon a chance at a face saving get out. Dont forget that it suits the Tories just fine to have the SNP making an arse of Scotland rather than Labour. And the independence thing is gently withering on the vine now anyway and the gainers from that will be the Scottish tories bizarrely. But there you go. Incidentally. Some folk round here may be aware that I'm right literally all the time. May has used Sturgeon politically to buy herself a but of time to organise Brexit, and more particularly to allow the CS to get up to speed and to get this countries negotiating position sorted before invoking article 50. But the plan being followed is this one below. Its the one a friend of mine has been working on for around a decade now and although he is roundly despised by all the political elites north and south of the border as well as their media hangers on, Its the plan currently being passed around whitehall. I told people this often enough prior to the referendum vote. But it might be worthwhile having a look through it now as it matters. It wont please the UKIP idiots naturally. But f**k them. They had a chance to own that referendum but a bit like Salmond and co during the indyref they utterly blew it by not having a plan in place to leave. As a result they are f**ked. http://eureferendum.com/documents/flexcit.pdf

  3. the 400,000 SNP voters that voted to leave the EU must be getting a fair idea of what its like to be on the receiving end of Sturgeon refusing to recognise a democratic vote. At least those 400,000 SNP voters actually grasp the concept of independence unlike the toe the line muppets. She really has made an arse of herself on this one. As for the "no article 50 until all the devolved regions of the uk agree". Utter bollocks. They'll be asked for their input, it will be noted out of politeness and then duly ignored. Sturgeon has been told to go and see what she can get off the EU and report back. That wont take very long considering she was pointed and laughed at when she turned up in Brussels to beg to be allowed to stay in the EU. Sorry love, the EU doesn't recognise regions, it only recognises the member state. Think of the EU as a bus. 28 states were on the bus, some of them are federal states and carry their regions around in a suitcase, or in the UKs case its a union itself. When they stop the bus and get off, they take their luggage with them. But they are off the bus.
  4. It was f**king shite This is what happens when you allow Guardianista style cocksockets to run things. wankers
  5. Not stupid at all. They got a massive bloc vote and an increase in membership in the immedite aftermath of their terrible disappointment. So its absolutely relevant. Delivering another majority for the half wit bloc vote is the only way to get another referendum through. as 400,000 deserted them a mere 12 months later and they lost their majority then you can see what happened. Beign the biggest party at Holyrood is largely irrelevant as only being a majority will ever get you in a position of having another referendum. And thats never going to happen again. Its all over. You should listen to me. I have been f**king immaculate right the way through this entire debacle.
  6. The markets are way ahead of things regardless. When we were bounced out the ERM the market reset was swift and was very beneficial to to us. The pound found its proper level which helped exports, employment increased and our economy became more competitive. The scenario isnt the same this time. But the markets will readjust very swiftly and our economy WILL cope very well. If anyone is genuinely wanting to know what our exit strategy would look like rather than simply parroting back shite that politicians spout then take a look through this. There is a way to remove uncertainty for markets and this is it. It keeps us with access to all the same markets and its economically neutral. The leave campaign were going to run with this but decided to run with immigrants and other pish. Up to them, but the exit strategy IS there and its actually the only sensible way to deal with things if its an out vote. http://www.eureferendum.com/documents/flexcit.pdf edit to add the document.. that tends to help
  7. It ended on sept 14th 2014. You supported a false prospectus which was rejected by over two million Scottish voters. The SNP have a bloc seethe which has carried them in the general election and the subsequent Scottish one. But interest is waning and people know that what they proposed was a lie. Sadly for the nationalist cause they have yet to sit down and look at why they failed. Until they do that and until they can come up with anything credible then none of us in here will ever be subjected to another independence referendum. One thing is for certain. The present SNP leadership have absolutely no intention of holding another and 2011-2016 was the last majority government we will ever see at Holyrood anyway. This will be a difficult parliament for Sturgeon and co. Its started badly already, but policy matters will be tough. They WILL piss off sections of their own support from now on. Enthusiasm will wane. Maximum nat was 2015 and that was down to the bloc seethe at the referendum result. They'll never be near that level of support again. They've already shipped about 400,000 voters in 12 months and lost their majority at Holyrood.
  8. Is this what happens when folk skip their medication then?
  9. Our board have made a series of rubbish decisions in the past few years. Hopefully they've fluked a half decent manager in Rae.
  10. If Murray was still here we'd be completely f**ked.
  11. No. I said it was the biggest religion on the planet. But it is increasing in size. As is Islam. Islam possibly at a faster rate, I don't know I would need to check. Islam will probably be the biggest religion at some stage mainly because once it becomes dominant you can be killed for apostasy. That hasn't been the case for Christianity for hundreds of years. You wouldnt really be free to voice the opinions you are able to do here once Islam is dominant. Most of the people I know who declare themselves religion free have simply replaced those sort of beliefs with beliefs in some other philosophy or ideology. I think humans are just wired that way. Fair enough.
  12. Because its increasing in size Has done since it became an organised religion. He may or may not be correct about his own patch of soil. I don't think there's much doubt that "churchgoing" is not at levels in the uk it used to be. But thats not to say folk have necessarily dumped the entire thing or that this cant change.
  13. Its the biggest religion on the planet.
  14. So you can add paranoia to your general stupidity then. Must be tough going for you in general.
  15. Thats right. its technically possible to form a government and have less votes than the next biggest party as its constituency based and not percentage based. You need to win constituencies to return MPs. The SNP called a referendum based on 22% of the Scottish electorate endorsing them in 2011. AS far as getting punters to turn up and vote, the general election is always the one that does best. Then HR, then probably local councils or EU stuff.
  16. Were you watching this week when the second biggest contributor to the EU budget and the second biggest economy in it and the fifth biggest economy on the planet went begging to be allowed to set its own benefit rules? And failed? Yet you think Scotland will be somehow protected from total absorption? Edinburgh is said to be the Athens of the North. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it would become if we handed sovereignty away to unelected commissioners. IF the UK votes out. Scotland is therefore out too. And it meets no criteria to enter again. No currency of its own. No central bank of its own and a massive deficit. The biggest in Europe. I'd actually LOVE to see Sturgeon demanding a referendum on the basis of leaving the UK and to attempt to join the EU. The utter horsing she would take from the Scottish electorate would be epic. Its never going to happen anyway no matter what we do in this referendum in June.
  17. That's what happens when you join the establishment.
  18. Not in Scotland in my lifetime generally. We've had a solid bloc of Labour bods. And we've exchanged that for a solid bloc of SNP ones. Some of whom have come from the original bloc of Labour muppets as I said earlier. Talentless shits riding aboard a gravy train. As for your second piece of wailing. Nope. No idea what youre dribbling about.
  19. The SNP come from a similar skim of the pond as Scottish Labour did. Its full of imbeciles, troughers, wannabes and downright morons and anti English racists, pro Irish Republican morons, sectarian twats and idiots. So, in essence, all we have done in Scotland is replace one bunch or morons with another set. Indeed many SNP councillors are former "crossed the floor" Labour ones who had the "mene mene tekel upharsin" moment and jumped to protect their income. Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.
  20. I'll be voting out. I'll leave the political establishment north and south of the Border to scaremonger for in. Better Together aye?
  21. There should be a fat bastard tax. Its the bloating up of the general population that is a problem. Our healthcare system is universal and funded by everyone whether they look after themselves or whether they dont. The onus should be on personal responsibility rather than an authoritarian approach. But while we have a taxpayer funded all inclusive system of healthcare no matter what you choose to do to your body then you'll get treated for free regardless. Rightly or wrongly, thats the system we have. We either put up with increasing costs of the state "looking after" everyone, and nonsense like this. Or we go another route. Its all taxpayer funded regardless and people are always claiming they are willing to pay more for healthcare so crack on. And no. I wasn't serious about taxing fat f**ks.
  22. http://www.ifs.org.uk/publications/7221 As the IFS mentions here it matters considerably more to a tiny little proposed country like Scotland. And as it says there, estimating things like the price of oil is difficult. I reckon this WAS pointed out continually to the ear biting nationalists. But they reckoned it was then "a bonus". They presented a shoddy plan and it was rejected on the grounds of being too risky and too stupid. Thats why its all over. Eventually you'll possibly realise you're now being taken for a ride by some politicians. But I wont hold my breath.
  23. http://www.ifs.org.uk/publications/7221 Here is where the SNP made a complete arse of themselves and lost their referendum
  24. No, the One Alex Salmond was peddling to thickos like you. How much would be missing from the scottish economy just now? Did Swinney ever bother to tell you the bad news?
  25. I don't know. Why? Lets keep it on oil and gas just now. Of which there is an absolute abundance and which means there's no pressure to rush into utter follies like windmills and crap like that. Time is very much on our side to actually come up with carbon free stuff that works. The link I sent you, and which you are still whining about , shows that its being worked on. Just enjoy some cheap energy for once you sad c**t.
