  1. Spotted this item praising the library recently opened on the High Street.

There was a post on here bad mouthing the investment in the library and Town Hall which, as far as I could tell, seemed strange as both are a good addition to the things Paisley has to offer.

Agree with this...  thought Kiltie would have been subbed instead of Olusanya,  but would have took a point before kick off,  If we can do the business next week we'll be in great position to fight for 4th come the split.

Aye, i thought, in spells, we played well. It did look like a "heads ir tails" game for me so, as you say, a point isn't a bad result.

We need to remember were almost guaranteed top 6 and have been in the top 6 for most of the season.

It wasn't so long ago we were looking over our shoulder at the bottom places.

They showed enough threat in the first hslf to suggest they had a goal in them so hence I suggested we'd probably need another goal to win the game.

On the other hand we've also looked like we could score.

After all that it'll stay 0-1.

    1-1 🙄

Prior to the NI game on Radio Scotland Thommo was proclaiming that McGregor is the best midfielder that Steve Clarke has right now.

Better than all our other midfielders who play in one of the most competitive leagues in the world?

    I personally don’t agree.

It’s all about opinions I guess.

    Indeed.

There's been plenty young players who have potential, not many become legends.

Easy to throw opinions around, pundits, and the general public, will say anything to attract attention. 😉

  6. Very enjoyable evening.

Lovely tea, bottle of fizz, few drinks (quite a few TBH) then the "carry on" putting the bed together. 🤣

Stunning morning so far, showers forecast after lunch.

We've booked a table at a restaurant adjoining the site then back for the big final.......Gladiators.  👍

Always better to be at a game for sure. Especially over the last couple of seasons. VAR is, IMO, a mixed blessing in that it is useful for very close offside decisions. However, the rule on handball is still open to much interpretation by different officials. An ex senior ref on radio recently read out the rule which appears to say simply that any handball in the box, whether accidental or not, should result in a penalty. I would still like more communication to the crowd on what is being looked at. I would rather the correct decision was made rather than a quick one. Re Motherwell game. We have our tickets and will be there. Often games full of incident and I expect this one to be no different. COYS

    Enthralling.  😴😴😴

  8. Not sure there many whining about VAR at the Aberdeen game penalty decision?

I'm not saying that VAR has transpired into the game changer I'd hoped for but there's a massive exaggeration about the time's it's less than perfect.

It's what supporter's do, moan and IF any use VAR as some excuse to stop going they were far from interested in supporting the club anyway.

  9. Arrived safely, nice pitch (get me with the lingo) met a couple from Paisley/Kilmarnock right next to us, small world.

Nice view although it's got a wee bit cloudier since this was taken.

  10. Today's the day, almost all set, just a few things to take in, get myself showered/shaved and we'll be off just after 2.

Excited with a wee bit of trepidation but as we're not going far it'll be fine.

Dogs will have a great time, lots of new places to sniff around and we've a bottle of bubbly to crack open this evening to celebrate a new chapter in our lives.

You are discouraged from being stoic in today’s society. They are creating a mental health market for the private sector to harvest and fleece. It’s started already with adult ADHD, folks (mainly women) who have had productive functioning life’s appear to now be getting diagnosed with a childhood condition where symptoms disappear in 4 out of 5 children when they reach late teens. Once the huge market is created the private sector will turn the U.K. into a mini America.

    👍👍👍

Haha I'm not sure where else to go. I've posted on the fb page and twitter looking for folks. Hopefully I can find a few folks who are interested.

Joined and find most of the pictures/articles quite interesting.

This caught my eye this morning, slightly romanticising life back in the day but a lot of truth especially the final few lines, not a mention of mental health issues that have become the crutch for society as a whole.
