I think if Gal was to go to Pars that Tuffey would be a good addition with him and Sammy. Question I have is, Do we always go for Keepers who can't come off their line or has this been coached to the by Mathers? Who is to blame the keeper or the coach?

I would like us to really look for width in the team for next season if we do sign Thompson as getting crosses in would be great.

I would take him if looks as though JT might be moving on or looking to see where he could get a better deal from. be even better if could have both. then you'd have JT and Buchannan at left back and VZ and Barron at right back. This would mean that Cheesey could maybe be used in the centre or on the bench, but never grace the pitch at right back again as he is total p*sh there!

I'd be happy with that too. I might also look at Hogg too. having a rotation of like of McGregor, Mair, Cuthbert and Hogg would be good. Then can see how the f*ck we can get Cheesey out on loan again to actually get more experience at CB so if/when McGregor goes he has the ability to take his place as he is on the longest contact ever!

For once Sid you have summed it up well. SPL as a whole asked supporters what they wanted, but it means f**k all what the rest think as they will go with the OF want. If they want to go with 10 team top league rather than expanding it then they will. They try to sell it saying it will help all of Scottish football? Will it? Just doing what the OF want or needs will never be the best for Scottish football.

Would us not sending some players to Ireland not free up wages that we could get a striker/creative midfielder in? Also is DL playing the defensive game so we don't lose games? We lose so many games from late goals. Could we not go a bit more attacking to try see off games? Or does he think the defensive side of the team would screw up? He signed a lot of the players, does he then not have himself to blame?

Myrie-Williams has signed with Fakes on short deal until Jan. Hibs have signed a striker as Duffy is injured. There must be players out there that could do us a turn. wide pacey players?! Creative midfielders?! Strikers?! Or someone that could play in all three to cover the lack of width, pace and indeed now fit strikers we have.

Does this mean we will not be getting anyone else in? Or has DL gone for cheaper options to beef up the squad (incase of injuries etc) so he would have a minimum of 20 players for the season? Then look at money he has left, then maybe get in 1/2/3 etc extra players (maybe bit more creative quality) in which would make us better off than he was aiming for with the 20 players? Thoughts?

Just had a thought and felt I should share it. So DL has come out and said he was signing the smaller/squad players at the moment and waiting until majority of player contracts expire as of 1st July to sign more quality/experienced players when he knows what money is left. What has been reported is that DL is on holiday (again I wouldn't mind his job 2 holidays in space of few weeks), why would you go on holiday at a time when players become available?! whould this not be best time to be around? as the saying goes "The early bird catches the worm". hope he is secretly bringing in quality as we speak!!!

Just wondering, is the tour in Northern Ireland for them not only to give the new squad time to gel with the amount of new players we will have as well as maybe taking a look at unknown footballers over there who might be able to do a job for us as well?

Hey Just a thought but for looking for players what about Patrick Cregg who was at Falkirk and then Hibs, but has since been released. I always thought when he was with Falkirk he was a solid midfielder. Also John-Paul Kissock was freed a while ago by Accies. Was he not supposed to have been quite a skillful wee player and must be only in his 20s. Plus will DL no have been at gretna with him? Just some thoughts of players that might be able to do a shift next season.
