Agree i think we should move quick, i'd offer i'm an extra year tomorrow. If your his agent would you advise him to sign it though? Not sure i would.
I definitely would advise him to. He's still very, very early in his tenure with us and now is the time he's most likely to agree to secure himself a long term shot at senior football with us.
6 months of from now when he's established and been turning in performances though? No chance. The longer he performs to a high level the sooner he'll realise he'll get offers elsewhere but currently he's still relatively under the radar so it's time for us to make sure we're not left behind.

18 months isn't a long time. I'd be sticking another year or two extension under his nose in the hopes he signs it.

Gogic, Jones and Greive were the three best players on the park tonight.
How refreshing that we had a window of quality over quantity.

Erahon seems to be given special treatment as he’s one of our academy. He offers little bar winning a few fouls and occasionally breaking up an attack. Not a bad lad but not in the same league as some of our other graduates who we lost ( for v little) . Power can be a little to keen on keeping the e ball but in general he offers much more than Ethan. You only have to look at Jims starting 11 each week and I’d say he agrees with me on this one
You're kidding right?
The amount of unwarranted criticism the lad gets is unreal. Our support are more unfairly harsh on him than anyone else in our squad.

Power is Better than Erahon for sure tho and will surely be offered a new deal - Flynn could be retained as a utility player perhaps on slightly lesser wage ? It would be wise to keep some experience and Flynn and Tait would be able to cover several positions but mainly as back up
Disagree on Power being better than Erhahon. They are two completely different types of player. Erhahon is much better at retaining possession than Power is.
Shaughnessy, Alnwick, Tait, Power provide plenty of experience in the squad. I don't honestly see where Flynn fits in next season. There's no point in keeping him around for sentimentality.

Is there anyone that’s actually worried we won’t be in the top league next season now?
No - I don't forsee any situation where Dundee and St. Johnstone are going to put a pun together.
Mentioned it a few weeks ago, the game on Wednesday and the Dundee game, 4 points between those two and we can put looking behind us firmly to bed.

And that's after St Johnstone gub us on Wednesday.
Prediction based on what, exactly?
-
Erwin, Miller and Flynn will be released.
Alnwick and Mccarthy will be offered new deals but leave.
Tanser has an option of a year but not specified if that's our decision or mutual.
Power I'm still on the fence over. He is good in the tackle but plays us into trouble much, much too often. I know folk love him and I think he's fine but I don't get the levels of adulation he receives.
-
Time to put this to bed over whether he'll improve us or not. He's not signing and the deal has been off since Friday. Everything was agreed by both parties and set to happen and we pulled the plug very late on in the process due to concerns over the backlash.
We were looking to move onto other targets but whether the way Greive acquitted himself at Easter Road yesterday changes that priority, I don't know. Whoever does come in, it won't be Griffiths.

Brilliant result!!

Thanks Doyle Hayes
My god . What a save

Jones and Grieve are both putting a lot of pressure on Hibs wayward passing across the back line, hopefully we get one of those to pounce on.

Offord being recalled from the 'Shire.
Are we allowed to do that? If so you'd think Jamieson ahead of Offord

Get this Griffiths chat so far to f**k.
You can chat about how he's out of form, needing minutes in his legs, a chance to find form under a bit of good man management.
But regardless of any of this, he's a questionable character to say the least and shouldn't be our burden

He’s not the bloody striker we need to be getting rid of. There’s two further up the queue than him.
One of whom is injured. There was no chance of Main moving on as soon as he got hurt.

If MacPherson was good enough he'd have gotten a step up or at least still be a St. Mirren player. He's a typical one good game in four player and always has been.
I'm not at all ITK but the difference between us is when I make a prediction or say something, I put specifics out there, names etc. See yesterday, I said that Dennis and Reid were on the way out. One came true, the other didn't - perhaps something changed but I acknowledged who was rumoured to be going.
You constantly go 'Something might happen, it probably will......or it won't' and some folk buy into it despite you actually saying nothing of note at all.
@Sweeper07 - Scratch that. Turns out both of my very specific predictions came to pass as we've now announced Dylan is off to QP for rest of the season.
Pot kettle indeed...

Do you think Goody would use a starting formation with two attacking wide players ? Time will tell I suppose. 🙂
I can't honestly see Jones starting right away because of lack of game time but in the best case scenario?
Henderson on right, Jones on left and Kiltie behind Brophy.
Ronan can also fit in anywhere in those three attacking slots as required or in centre mid.
Losing McGrath and McAllister has made that a much easier selection for Goodwin I feel.

I'll be disappointed if Jones' arrival means that young Jay Henderson is the player to get pumped out. The young man has shown a lot of promise IMO.
Can't see it, Jay has been playing on the right more than the left of the park.

So pot kettle.... you asserted McGrath was leaving in the summer window last year and you said Macpherson was not a player before he started getting a run in our team... he also is rated by the Fakes....
Was there something you DiD not know about that did not come off... I know that there was...
Cheers...fellow bud...

He'd have been on good money too... so value for contribution is an issue in budget terms too...
Inbound shortly....
Do you ever get anything right? Honestly.

Might be seeing Reid and Dennis on the way out. Queen's Park are interested in getting Dylan for the rest of the season on loan.
Would be a good short term move for the lad.

Don't think he's too far out , we have been trying to bring in 20yr old Fulham striker Kieron Bowie .
That would be a good signing. I remember him being really highly rated at Raith. He went south and scored a load of goals for Fulham's development side last season.

Seven seasons. You'd think you'd fact check stuff like that before posting it. I knew off the top of my head it was more than four as I remember them being in the 1st/championship for two spells totalling 4 years.
The four seasons I remember have come in the last 23 years. A relatively short period of time.
Hibs certainly are not immune from a shite spell taking them down. Practically unthinkable up until the turn of the century but since then? They've had their issues on occasion.
