  1. No need to worry Div. Stu and Sid already have this sorted. If we need £30,000 then the cic gives us it (Stu) and it's only a fag packet assessment from a bigot who has supported 1000hrs in the past but just wants to cause trouble.(Sid)
  2. They already said no to your pal Mr McGeogh.....you know the one who you said was lead astray and didn't know what he was doing most think he knew exactly what he was doing.
  3. Ok got it now St Mirren don't need anyone to provide any overdraft facility once the directors are gone. They were only using their own accounts for fun. Richard can go in the future as Maxi would be the only source for such a facility. 10 fan directors with no access to additional funds can manage the season without any cash flow problems. If a problem cropes up like the £30,000 shortfall we will be ok. Thanks for putting my mind at rest.
  4. Most successful buisinesses need an overdraft facility. Spartans don't require £2million to keep the lights on then pay for an SPL football team. The BOD have used their own accounts to manage a St Mirren overdraft when needed (not this season)....You are aware Richard Atkinson gave a £30,000 loan to the club due to cash flow?........When football budjets are set out at the start of the season some predictions have to be made. If we don't compete relegation is certain. If we over spend (on projections that turn out lower i.e a drop in attendance) then we have no one to turn to. Cash flow will be a major problem for us Stuart unless Richard has Maxi as a bank or some other way of raising more cash. Motherwell is raising the money for an overdraft....go and check!
  5. lol....Stuart do you not remember I'm the naive guy(your words) who said when we get a cic....Renfrewshire will be united in flocking to our stadium. We will have a facility which will generate a serious income with events and sign £4000 per week players for the first time. Our value in the community will see great results in tackling obesity, alzeimer's and the rest. The funding will pour in helping both the club and the community which will see us win the Champions league! (well maybe not the last bit) but I was very possitive.
  6. Your post is fairenough Sid and like I said it was only a concern (the first) I have had about a cic. There is still a problem with cash flow at the club and the cup/tv money made life easier for payments to be made (some were late). The BOD have used their own accounts on many occasions to manage cash flow. My question is........When similar problems arise which they will where do we get the money?
  7. Yes you are right Sid ..he is a r*ngers fan and has done articles for many newspapers including the worst. However he has slated the CW connected buy out of our club and has backed the Motherwell model as the way forward. He has been supportive of 10000hrs but after having a closer look at the model has some concerns about the need for more investment after the sale (nothing to do with the bar). I would like to know if more finance is needed and if so how much.
  8. Lets all stay in the real world. If rang*rs manage a CVA (how that's possible is beyond me) or reform a newco they will still play at Ibrox. For me a newco has to start in the 3rd division and anything else makes our sporting integrity null and void. If they get a CVA then we will all have to just deal with it as they will remain in the SPL and it will just show how it's one rule for the big and one for the small. If a newco stay in the SPL it's the end for me as a season ticket holder as watching Rang*rs 2012 winning at St Mirren park with a £5million squad would gee me the boak.
  9. So if we raise the £2million (or the figure the BOD will accept) we start the cic with nothing. Why does Motherwell need £750,000 and we can get by on nothing?
  10. It's a fallacy to say you can't knock down a listed building as you can. I had a pm conversation with tedious tom about this very fact. We both agree there are many occasions where if you can prove it is in the best interest of the future of the site then the building can be demolished.
  11. Love Street will now be for housing with Tesco getting their prefered site on Renfrew road. We won a watch with the timing and location of our deal. No one would pay a dime for the big hoose now for any reason but football. Shame really as you could've been first in with the wrecking ball driving through 55,000 protesters!
  12. Something closer to the Motherwell model rings some alarm bells for me. They have stated the need for a £750,000 fund to be used in the absence of their sugar daddy and as we also have no banking overdraft facility this might be something we need to introduce. The sum maybe smaller but nevertheless It is a fact that the board have had to use their own personal accounts for the periods all clubs suffer from a lack of cash flow. Richard's famous "charge" on the club was to provide a short term loan when the club had no money. If we are to become a cic then we need to know how this is going to be managed. Maybe Richard will offer Maxi at the start but we need to be able to continue without one person having that amount of control. As I have said before just a concern.
  13. I don't think he is daft enough to think we are looking for any money back. His point is we need a large sum of money after the takeover goes through which I was not aware of. There is nothing to show how we would raise this money and as such he is raising a concern. I.e. we cannot continue long term under a cic without alot more funds than we are currently struggling to reach for the takeover. The risk he refers to is for the club....not the individual. I am not saying we won't have something in place but it does concern me at this time.
  14. As a supporter of 10000hrs cic/coop i have found the first piece of news which is negative in our fan based buy out. Everything I have read on here has not been backed up with mainly minority shareholders looking for money. Now though a man whose opinion I respect has issued a warning to us. "I've undertaken a financial analysis on St Mirren with respect to their potential co op scheme. Fans should realise that this is a high risk investment. SMFC requires substantial restructuring of operations to be viable long term. Clarity is required on where this money will come from if co op bid succeeds". David Hillier is a well respected financial expert and I for one was not aware of any need for major restructuring. This for me is worrying.
  15. Well how do I know what you look like if you weren't mentioned at the meeting. Are you sure you never spoke to anyone at that meeting?.....As for the free coffee well thats just evidence I never even asked for. Guilty as charged!..sausage roll thief
  16. So we'll take that as a yes then. Welcome on board Stuart ...tell us what we do now ..follow the shoe??
  17. Start the campaign Tracy....."The boy who came in from the cold"....A story of a lost sheep No it was you ! and you were introduced
  18. Yea i know. Cambell Kennedy still gave you table service at St Mirren park though....."pint of lager Stuart?".....Did you pay??
  19. I know I could talk to him if I asked but that is the same for all the St Mirren fans. There is nothing special about having a conversation with SG. If you phone he will talk to you...always been the same and I have had maybe 4 chats with him about specific concerns mostly pre new stadium move. The most notable being when we looked to be dropping to the 2nd div. "Do you want a fcuken club to support!" still makes me shudder and has led me to pay more attention to the costs of running a provincial club.(£2Million without any players!) I have no interest in making another call but I feel if SG can sell to 10000hrs and not have the worry of making and meeting the budjet then he will be able to continue as our leader in the future. He will need to have the support of the fans votes to do this and I hope and think this will be the case. Most of us on here respect him greatly and you my friend are very much in the minority.
  20. SG would be more than happy to stay on without the stress he has suffered through the years if the financial control of the club was taken over by 10000hrs. He would be able to act in our best interests at a time when the SPL is plunged into caos with Range*s liquidation and the strong leadership needed by all the SPL clubs. REA can not do this job and there is no one on here who could either......Why did I choose the names ??....They are the ones who understand the great benefit of a CIC/ COOP and are truely "St Mirren till they die".....Well apart from one on that last point I have nothing but respect for what REA is trying to do it's just I don't see him as a leader. When the Setanta deal collapsed there was a lot of fannying about having our own tv channel. SG..."It was the only deal on the table (sky/espn) so we took it!"....A man who calls a spade a bloody shovel is what we need right now.
  21. Ffs....This either means Gus is coming back or we have to pay compo every 3 months!
  22. I take your points on board but for me there never was a need to go silent once never mind twice and it reflects badly on him. He has the ability to get the the coop sale done but has no leadership qualities to take us forward. My main point is we need to retain SG to argue and bargain for our position. Without him who will do it....REA?...YOU?..St SId?..Poz? Stuart D?.....As far as I can see we have a lack of experience and to get rid of our best ever chairman would be an act of folly.
  23. Richard came to the club with a great idea and contacts which could and maybe should have us as a cic right now. He failed due to politicts from the SNP. However he has failed in many more ways with his PR which is really laughable. He is not a leader and never will be, Your nemesis Stuart Gilmour should in my opinion be retained after the sale as no one has his ability or experience to represent our club. So to recap.....St mirren become a coop.....SG stays as chairman (can be voted out anytime).....REA walks away ......St Mirren fans take positions on the board (need direction..i.e from SG) 2 yrs later maybe SG can go but he is needed now.
  24. If one thing is true about the sale of our club it is Richard Atkinson is not the right leader to take us forward. He must go as soon as possible once the deal is done. He has no rapport with the fans and his PR (even allowing for SNP intervention) is to be quite honest pathetic. We need SG however as who else do we put into the Lion's den for the rebel 10?. No one on here will fit that bill so shut the fcuk up about control and make sure we keep our greatest chairman at the club!
