  1. wrong planent explained the situation far better than i could and it seems to have left you in meltdown
  2. Scottish long term savings companies will be subject to seperate regulatory and tax regimes and all the extra cost and risk associated with that auto enrollment is due to swell the new business of long term savings companies in scotland employers in the r of uk wont be sending pension monies to a foreign country it just wont happen
  3. nobody has responded because no one appears to actually understand the issue evidently you included
  4. deary methat's your third attempt at answering my question and your latest fail degenerates into your usual personal abuse... a sure sign when someone loses the debate read my post above, the issue isn't about companies leaving Scotland... Although that will surely follow
  5. whether these businesses leave Scotland or not isn't the issue the fact is that customers in the r of the uk will stop placing their business with Scottish companies and will pull out existing monies
  6. yet again highlights how poor a job longwell has been in his 10 years in charge of our youth system Falkirk have produced a few quality boys recently who have gone to England for big money how much transfer income has longwell delivered? he needs to go
  7. 24 hours since i asked the question, can anyone yet explain how Scotland will deal with the collapse of the financial services in Scotland in the event of a yes vote? independence will mean seperate regulatory and tax regimes and hence higher costs and risk to customers in the uk major advisers such as Hargreaves lansdown have already indicated that no more business would go to Scotland and existing business would be pulled out financial services is 8% of the Scottish economy independence would wreck our economy overnight
  8. 'this corrupt government' is as much scotland's as it is England, wales, etc its amazing the bits of the uk that the yes lot want to keep and the bits they want to disassociate themselves with
  9. I did some analysis on rangers 1979 - 1986 a couple of years ago (very sad i know) in the league they were only the 4th most successful side in Scotland with a big gap between them and the top 3 of Aberdeen, Celtic and Dundee united. St. Mirren were 5th and we only averaged 2 points per season less than rangers. yet, despite this, during that period, rangers reached more cup finals than any other club in Scotland, 10 in total, and won 4 of them lets put this into perspective during that period of 7 years they were only marginally better than st. Mirren in the league... yet they won twice as many cups in those 7 years than saints had managed in over 100 years up to that point and reached twice as many finals dodgy refereeing wasn't able to be substained over a league campaign but it enough to help them out in the cups
  10. I've always felt that a lot of McAusland's "gaffes" were down to his attempts at passing the ball. If the manager just told him to blooter the ball in any general direction away from his own goal then things would be a lot better.
  11. Straight 4-4-2 with McLean or McGinn shunted wide. Using McLean wide will allow him more freedom to get into attacking positions and avoid markers. Use him on the right and he can cut inside to shoot. You don't have to be a winger to play wide. Loads of great midfielders played wide without being wingers, David Beckham, Gordon Strachan, Billy Stark, Tommy Burns, Nakamura, etc.
  12. Its telling that you associate the union jack with The Rangers... The fact is that just over 2 years ago you wanted The Rangers straight back into the SPL - as did faraway. And here just now, you are mourning the exit of Celtic from the Champions League. Any extra money that St. Mirren would have been a waste as we would be no better off than any of our rivals and the cash would have all been squandered giving it to players. The support that you and faraway give to these clubs and their exploitation is there for all to see.
  13. Every cloud has a silver lining. This could give Callum Ball and Ross Caldwell a real extended run in the side as a partnership. It might just be that they can form a lethal strikeforce...
  14. No surprise to see Kendo & Faraway backing the Old Firm yet again. Remember, both these guys wanted to see the brand new club, The Rangers, placed straight into the SPL. The Old Firm make their money by exploiting sectarian hatred. Kendo & Faraway support the exploitation of sectarian hatred to make money. Its there for all to see.
  15. You were telling us it was a performance business after the Motherwell game. Make up your mind!
  16. The players don't get off scot free however. They get dropped, they get replaced, they get sold, they get released. If they don't get results then its out the door.
  17. I backed the signing of Caldwell in the summer. This could be the break we need to kick start the season. Hopefully Ross Caldwell will get a run in the side now. Celtic also losing is a great bonus.
  18. i wouldn't believe ftofhe's a bell end...
  19. Is anyone able to answer my question yet? financial services is 8% of the Scottish economy. Do we really want to risk losing it? Hargreaves lansdown believe that Scottish independence will lead to lower investment returns due to increased costs from 2 regulatory and taxation regimes as slatifastbest or whatever pointed out, he believes people will do as they have always done and go where they get the highest returns
  20. in not too sure what stuarts point is either but im pretty sure that all of the potential 11 new customers created by auto enrolment would be lost
