  1. Hypocrisy? Explain. The way I see it, Jack Ross was our manager. A St.Mirren employee. Wee give him our support. He no longer is either of these, so what's the biggy? He did a fantastic job for us, but he isn't any longer. Thanks Jack but Bye. Life as they say goes on.
  2. What amazes me, is the fact that if you don't toe the Jack Ross Superfan line, then you're a nutter, short on memory, an idiot etc etc. No matter how you dress it up,Jack Ross walked away from St.Mirren fans so why shouldn't St.Mirren fans walk away from Jack Ross? It is human nature to react. We all react differently . So why not let people react how they feel, rather being bullied into something else. So many posters on here are giving Jack Ross tremendous respect, but they can't manage the same for their fellow supporters! S M T I D !!!
  3. You sound as you're speaking from experience! Why does it bother you so much the fact someone has a different opinion than you? LIVE AND LET LIVE friend
  4. 25 May 2018 A Message from Jack Ross SMFC Webteam Club News I would like to express my sincere gratitude to so many people involved at St Mirren FC for the experiences of the past 20 months. To my players and staff who have worked tirelessly to support the work we do and who have been relentless in their pursuit of success and their desire to drive the club forwards. To the chairman Gordon Scott and directors Alan Wardrop, Chris Stewart and David Nicol for their willingness and indeed patience to help meet my demands for excellence at the club, and to Chief Executive Tony Fitzpatrick and my guru Gavin Whyte for their incredible backing and unwavering faith in me. To the fantastic support I cannot thank you enough for sticking with me, backing us in our hour of need and then joining us on the terrific journey of the past season and a half. I am immensely proud that I have helped to give you your club back and I have always said that your unwavering passion for your club was there long before me and will continue long after my time. It has not been an easy decision to leave a club and a job which I loved but I have been offered an exciting career opportunity of which the challenge of I look forward to meeting. The days at Easter Road last May, and the Saturday's 21st and 28th April at our stadium and in the town will be memories I will always treasure and I wish all Buddies every future success. SMTID Jack Ross Save
  5. Good luck Jack and James . Now moving on........PLEASE GOD NOT BLOODY HOPKINS.
  6. Where did you read this? I can't seem to find anything to say that's the deal complete.
  7. WHO'S CRYING MATE? It's all about decorum and respect. Anyone of us are perfectly entitled to go out and better ourselves. With the amount of money thrown at him, yes, he would be mad not to go. It's the bloody way he did it. Jacks legacy is there for all to see. He had the ability to be a really great manager with us. St.Mirren treated Jack Ross well, Jack Ross went behind Saints back to do his dealings. Thanks for the memories, Jack, but it's time for us to move on, you sneaky wee prick!
  8. Perhaps Bud, but according to Tony Fitz, Saints always had a plan in place if Jack left. It seems the plan is to ask Jack!

  10. Awryty, got it https://www.cruisecritic.co.uk/articles.cfm?ID=112 See before the internety things were invented we simply used the old fashioned telephone, but they probably didn’t have them things on the dark side of the moon. Jim Goodwin? I don’t like him. Perhaps with another year in management. If we were still in the championship, then I would give him the gig, but the stakes are way higher. Who ever it is though, I will give them my total backing. Eh, welcome back btw, some folk had you in some sort of self imposed sin bin!
  11. In future Poz, perhaps you should purchase yourself one of those new fangled phones which connect to something called ‘the internet’. This apparently allows you to keep in touch with the goings on back home. I know it sounds all sci- fi, but by all accounts it works. Oh, and once the holiday drugs are out your system come back on and say who you would like to see as our new manager, as you’ve wrote Jim Goodwin !! Could you imagine that?? Jeeeesus!
  12. From the Sunderland Echo ........ Announcement tomorrow? Hopes had been high Jack Ross would be announced as the new Sunderland boss, but as the afternoon fades into night, it looks like we might have to wait until tomorrow for the Scottish former Hartlepool defender to be unveiled. Or will we? If anything happens, you will hear about here first. If it's the morning, we will have a blog up bright and early. Stay tuned either way..

  14. Sunderland should follow up Jack Ross appointment with Gavin Reilly swoop ???? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/05/24/do-sunderland-should-follow-up-jack-ross-appointment-with-gavin/
  15. I truly hate Billy Davis. He is a condescending little twat! Correct in my opinion Drew, he IS a fanny. A wee self obsessed oddity. Some quotes from the little idiot............ If he's happy to sit on an electric chair and tell a truth or a lie then I'm happy to sit on an electric chair and we'll see what the outcome is, because I've got no doubt in my mind what happened. Jan 2010, http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jan/31/nigel-clough-billy-davies-assault-allegatio Billy seems to be using the expression "electric chair" when he means a lie detector. (Billy seems to be using the expression "electric chair" when he means a lie detector.) Under no circumstances will any supporter try to tell me what I should do. That is why I have the track record that I have got. Feb 2010, http://www.thisisnottinghamforest.co.uk/news/Forest-boss-Davies-stand-record/article-1832938-detail/article.html (A response to Forest supporters who booed when he made a substitution at Doncaster Rovers) The situation is clear. I trust in my ability, I trust in what I do and, if people put their trust in me, I will deliver for them. (Aug 2009, http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/news/Davies-Forest-sign-players/article-715858-detail/article.html?logout=true.) But he insists he will soon make his return to the game, saying: “I don’t think there is any doubt that one day I will be back at the top of football.” The 53-year-old Scot has been out of work since being sacked by the Reds in March 2014, despite an impressive managerial record. And he believes there has been an orchestrated smear campaign against him by a PR company during the last three years that has put clubs, including Rangers, off hiring him – and he claims to have spent £100,000 or more gathering evidence to prove it.“I love football, I miss football,” Davies told The Times. “It is in my blood. But three years ago I spoke with a very respected legal individual who, back at the beginning of all this, told me categorically ‘Billy, you cannot go back into football until you clear this up’. “I know I am innocent. You saw it everywhere on social media: ‘Bloody Billy Davies … there is a reason why no club will touch him with a ten-foot pole … even s***** Scottish teams’. It was all over Twitter and elsewhere, these lies about me. Bloody electric chair......Idiot!
