You don't need an elected president, as such, you could have the same system as now, it would just cut out the step of having to have the monarch signing things off. Nothing else, in political terms, need really change. After all, they're really just a figurehead with no real power.

She did a job and was well paid for it. A monarch is dead, another one is (or will be) in their place - neither of them did, or will do, anything for me, don't see why I should be bothered. Yes, some of the stuff is OTT, but that happens all the time (school shootings etc), why would you expect anything less?
