  1. Was gutted we didn't get Campbell last transfer window. Although we may not win a cup I reckon he will leave with as many if not more than missed Isma saying Jeez what a player so wish we could keep him. Good future ahead and already proving he is more than good enough to play for us. Exactly what we needed. Just defenders now.
  2. You think he'll give us the firepower to hit 4 goals a game so we can win despite the goals conceded by our terrible defenders.
  3. Absolutely honking performance. Was like watching a lower league team simply waiting for when the top league team would inevitably score. For season after season we seem to put together teams who can compete with the best on their day but all too often as soon as they get a bit of breathing space decide they've done enough and can coast until they need to perform again rather than have the pride to push on like other smaller teams have. Even the highlight of our decade was like that... 3-1 up in Cup final and everyone shuts down leaving a nervous edge of the seat ending...typical of the sides we've had for years.
  4. Grainger proving to be short of the standard needed at this level and sadly we don't have anything better. Top 6 chances as far away as ever. Avoiding play off at best.
  5. Does seem like one of these days where it's just a matter of time
  6. Mon the Paisley SAINTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
  7. LOL I did my best ...I'll be looking for a big reaction from myself next week at St Johnstone. "It" wasn't good enough.... "it"
  8. That was a very poor performance and I hope they get the message that I wasn't good enough. However the same thing happened to Motherwell time and again the last few seasons and they have been consistently better at gathering the points over that time. Some very slack play which reminded me of Utd a few weeks ago when they were pressed out of their stride by our boys...Celtic are a strong and skillful team and played well today and when they do that most teams will struggle. I do feel encouraged by our young uns... McGinn, Kelly and Naismith are developing well...both FB's struggled a little in today's conditions, hope that was a blip...we have a cracking keeper signed up and I thought Campbell looked excellent with the limited supply he got today...looked very sharp and aware. Thompson is still playing well and hopefully the help from Campbell will encourage him that he's not doing it alone up front. Goodwin returns fresh Still concerned about centre half...all 3 showing limitations and inconsitent performances...frustrating as all can look the part when they get it right.
  9. What as....ballboy? Never been as embarrassed for a manager as when I saw his 'performance' v Partick after being told "This is the one we've been waiting for" Was like the George Weah's cousin incident at Southampton.
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25612715 Just to cheer us up
  11. Brady for Thompson.....that's really the towel being thrown in....may as well rest him though no great point in knackering him over a pointless 15 minutes.
  12. Absolutely no defence and yet we just will not buy a centre half.......defenders priority this transfer window...1 decent one at a minimum
  13. Grainger sells the jerseys...another aimless ball straight to their player..must be about 3 in a row....having a complete shocker
  14. 4 times now...are they just allowed to use their hands?
  15. Ohh let's just let them walk through...crap crap crap defending
  16. That was quite amusing In today's World's strongest man event Van Dyke will have to tow a small ginger geordie attached to his shirt for 10 yards before being allowed to pass the ball.
  17. How many of our free kicks in dangerous positions are we going to allow Grainger to just hoof into the stand before we give someone with the ability to get it on target a go?
  18. Fair summaries so far...competing well...need to be more careful with our own ball giving it away cheaply on the way forward.....and riding out luck a bit
