  1. He must have been a right idiot. Everyone knows that it was actually Penilee. Only people who make things up believe that, it was definitely Elderslie - he grew up with my old man.
  2. I once convinced a guy that the songwriter was from Elderslie and that the original line was "...and the music takes me back to Elderslie..." Not the most switched on person in the world, mind.
  3. Holy f**k, someone take the shovel away from Ricky right now.
  4. Sorry you lost your title. You're confusing 'title' and 'marbles' again.
  5. Putting a commitment into a manifesto to try to get a second referendum when the target audience - Scottish voters, not UK voters - voted 2 to 1 to remain in the first one is divisive? Really? Not sure what the billions demanded were, that's news to me, but I'm sure you'll enlighten me. I've already told you why the European light thing isn't relevant. So, why isn't the UK government spending taxoayers money on advertising itself bothering you?
  6. So apart from electioneering which i) came to nothing and ii) was electioneering, nothing apart from spending party funds in a way the majority of the membership (whose money it was) approved of? Don't you think BoJos plans to splaff £5m of taxpayer money to lovebomb Scotland with advertising telling how good the Conservatives are towards us would be a better thing to complain about?
  7. Never assume anything, that would put you on a par with the oxter and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I'll give you the policy of independence for Scotland being divisive by its nature but it is the SNP's raison d'etre so it's a given. That's one, but you said 'policies' so give me the others.
  8. Oh ffs, the twattery is real right enough. No-one's laughing at job losses, the laughter is aimed squarely at the individual for saying something a year and a half ago and completely u-turning today. Do try to keep up.
  9. Which of 'her' policies are "divisive in the extreme' - well, she doesn't actually have any so I'll give you some latitude - which of the SNP's policies are "divisive in the extreme'?
  10. Those who made that video? You haven't even watched it, have you? It's a BBC News interview, ya trumpet.
  11. What's patronising about it? Sits back with popcorn, this should be fun.
  12. I have, didn't you notice? [emoji846]
  13. I'm sure you know this but just to be 100% crystal clear it's the first of these definitions. Or almost any of the synonyms.
  14. There's that arrogant and patronising thing again. No confusion at all, oxter, the discussion is about people voting for something they don't appear to fully understand. Ironically, you don't appear to understand what the discussion is about and keep deflecting.
  15. Not from me, shull, contempt is the word I'd use to describe my feelings towards this person.
  16. I know but thought it worth posting just for the still, didn't show up in the previous post. The * is 'U' for 'Unite' in case anyone hasn't figured it out.
  17. Have you watched the videos? It's not a generality, it's about the people in the videos and 'the thickest of the thick' is not a 'ridiculously arrogant' way to describe those specific people. Most of your posts on just about anything, on the other hand...
  18. Tying in with my earlier post, this is Brussels
  19. No idea - why not ask Twitter, BAWA didn't ban her for hate speak, it did. Let us all know the answer...
