  1. Just watched the Hibs, Dunfermline game. Dunfermline were pretty impressive and Paul McMullen got man of the match and scored a goal. I don't see us being able to catch them. They appear to have found a really good run of form.
  2. Yes we have a decent looking squad with a few good options. TC named his preferred team yesterday but forgot about Smith shows the strength we have. We have a decent squad that has a chance to pull this out the bag.
  3. The Fish screwed your both teams to score prediction.
  4. That's what Dumbarton thought playing 10 men 2-0 up and 90 minutes played.
  5. Elvis will on in a minute to point out the flaws in your argument.
  6. Both teams to score, mad bet remember we've got Billy the Fish.
  7. What's the odds on a Buddies win tomorrow?
  8. Never mind yir tea. Just get bevied.
  9. Thanks for your love and understanding ya pair of trumpets.
  10. Feeling a bit down as due to circumstances beyond my control I'm missing this game and also the cup final.
  11. Yeah from a loudmouth like you who never apologises that's about right.
  12. Not sure why you're not reading that, the clue is in the title of the thread.
  13. Do you really believe Jack Ross isn't under pressure?
  14. I repeat Ross wouldn't have been my selection as manager. However the things he's done to address the weaknesses in the squad seem logical. As for putting people under pressure and expecting them to perform better, I don't agree. Jack Ross is under pressure and no one knows this better than him. He's doing all he can to save us this season hence why 11 new signings in January. If you believe telling him that he's getting sacked if we fail to avoid the drop will make him work any harder then sorry I think you're completely wrong. If we go down then I'm sure that the board will look at this and make a decision based on how well the team improved under his leadership and whether they believe he's the right man to take us straight back up. If they keep him he'll have a clear remit from the board for next season.
  15. What's vague about saying in my opinion it would be completely wrong to sack the manager?
  16. The plan was to allow the manager to bring in his players and see how he gets on, was it not? That's how I see it.
  17. In my opinion it would be completely wrong to sack a manager who has just spent a whole month assembling a team that hasn't had time to prove one way or another if he has got it right. Early signs point to perhaps he has got it right, victory over Dundee at Dens and the 4-1 semifinal victory gives us some hope. Is this the time to change a manager? No, not for me, I'm not saying that JR is the right man for the job, I personally wanted Gus. However he has just assembled his own squad and he needs time to see if that squad can deliver. Surely he deserves that chance.
  18. Three things we didn't play on Saturday, second when we played we won 4-1. Not many expected that. Lastly he now has options to change things with quality players in midfield.
  19. No strongly disagree, we knew long before he was appointed that he was the wrong man.
  20. Yes if he had anything to with those players coming then yes he did well. However once he took the reigns of a club where he must have known the strengths and weaknesses he didn't exactly tackle them. JR would appear to have had a real go at gutting out the deadwood and we will now see whether it works or not. Even you must agree he's replaced the players you hated.
  21. He has rid the team of your hate target players.
