  1. No, it really isn't. He puts his foot on the ball first. I've seen worse tackles not even get a yellow.
  2. Do they ever use the 'Goodwin' magnifying glass on anyone other than us? Seriously? Yesterday Scott Brown clearly kicked an Accies player and they didn't even mention it. Double standards. Really not happy.
  3. Oh well, we're fecked then. BBC Sportscene really seem to have it in for us... and St Johnstone. Oh, and handball for our winner? The pictures I've seen don't show that. The reactions of the RC players don't show that. And the reaction of the RC fans behind the goal don't show that. Fecking shocking.
  4. I've had a really bad injury playing football. The last thing I did, or could imagine anyone doing, would be hammering the turf. Clear sign of play acting. If this incident is viewed on its own merits, he will be cleared. Sadly. a lot of it will depend on what the BBC say about it tonight. Shocking. But true.
  5. Can't believe anyone thinks that was a red or that it won't be overturned. If you take the worst possible angle and look at a still taken at the worst possible moment, then you could maybe say his studs were showing - BUT, if you watch the video it's barely a foul. And the ref actually signals for a throw in. The 4th official clearly had some kind of agenda, and Toshney's disgraceful acting gave him the opportunity to try to pursue it.
  6. Serious question, how many of these shocking decisions have gone our way this season and how many have gone against us?
  7. Holy feck. Just watched the highlights. That is surely one of the most appalling red card decisions ever.
  8. Yeah, we've been so unlucky that refs and officials seem to been on our case so instantly. Unlucky that Collum awarded two penalties against us and sent of McLean for doing nothing, and missed the only clear penalty in the game which should have been fir us. Unlucky that the ref against Well missed us scoring a clear goal, and the linesman gave offside in another promising attack where the ball ended up in the back of the net. Unlucky that the ref missed a clear push on McLean, after which we never got another touch before Aberdeen scored the goal that changed the game. And that's just in the last 2 weeks. Unlucky?
  9. Saw Scott Brown kick an Accies player earlier, and get a quiet word from the ref. Obviously haven't seen what Arquin did, but it's taking a long long time for 'these things to even themselves out'.
  10. I'd be happy if Thommo returns in time to come on as a late sub for the second play off game and scores the winner against Sevco.
  11. Yes, but apart from those few things, everything else was completely balanced out by him awarding us a dodgy penalty in the 95th minute. Oh, and one more thing... with Saints in possession in the last third, he blew for half time BEFORE the 45 minutes was up. Normally refs wait until an attack has finished before blowing for HT/FT, but even if they don't, they should at least play the regulation time before stopping play!
  12. The clearest penalty in the 90 minutes, and the one not awarded. Can't remember the score at the time, but maybe he'd have given it if it had been 2-0 to Killie and we were in the 95th minute. Don't care how paranoid this might sound, but he definitely seems to give the benefit of the doubt to the opposition whenever it actually matters.
  13. Why would he bother. Two goals down, and in the 95th minute. Collum awarded it to try to make it look like he'd had a balanced display of ineptitude rather than all of the key decisions going against one of the teams. The McLean red card is absolutely outrageous looking at those highlights - and explains why everyone at the time was stunned by it. And Magennis, for his part in that, and other incidents throughout the game has shown himself to be something of a cheating tosser.
  14. And the red card. Not even 'soft', just wrong. Are the SPFL offices open tomorrow to allow us to appeal and have Kenny available for ICT? I know people think I'm paranoid when I say Collum has something against us, but when you watch what we watched today - and let's face it, it's hardly the first time - can you blame me.
  15. If anyone is ever in any doubt about Collum having a grudge against us, the penalty he awarded to us should dispel it. I've no doubt that replays will probably show that the two Killie penalties and McLean's red card could, by the letter of the law be given. But would he give them if they happened the other way around? I doubt it very much. And would he have given us that penalty if it had been 0-0 or 1-0 Killie, or if it wasn't in the last minute of injury time? When the Killie defender took out Mclear when on a great run and would have left their defence behind, and was not carded, it was clearly new year, but same old Collum. Rather than go for 4-5 players, I'd put whatever funds we have in to signing the best central defender and the best striker we can. We are still not that far behind three or four teams in the bottoms 6, and a bit of quality in those two areas could change some of the narrow losses in to wins.
  16. If only you knew someone you could stay with who lived nearby
  17. Stu in impartially viewing all the evidence and finding against St Mirren on every front shocker.
  18. Thommo's red looks like probably the right call, although as Muir showed later, a Well player studding someone in the stomach a few seconds after they've been in an altercation is only a yellow. However, if the ref books O'Brian for the tackle shown in the BBC highlights, or the any of the other two that happened before and after that, then he does not go in to Thommo in that way in the first place; and Thommo wouldn't be as angry as he clearly was at getting no protection from the ref. At the time I was sure Tess was onside; just no idea by how much. Can we really trust the linesman who got that decision so badly wrong to have ruled in our favour in a closer call like the goal? He also had a great view of Lasley trying to get Ball sent off by pretending he'd been elbowed in the face.
  19. Was given a yellow, so I don't think it can be changed. Was more of a red card than Thommo's.
  20. I've absolutely no doubt that Well were sent out with instructions to try to rough Thompson up. No doubt their hope was that our 36-year old, just returned from injury, not-fully fit talisman would pick up another knock from a few heavy challenges. Him actually getting sent off after 19 minutes was clearly a bonus. No idea why Muir let O'Brian off with the first couple of tackles on Thommo, but it just gave him licence to keep going. The one he eventually did get a yellow for could easily have been his fourth.
  21. Who the feck edited those highlights. Didn't show Saints offside goal yet managed to find time to show a weak Motherwell cross that went in to Ridgers hands. AND they replayed it. Feels like we do get the shitty end of the stick far too often. Edited to ad: no footage of the penalty claims either.
  22. St Mirren did something that could potentially get us in to trouble and you hope it won't be picked up? Good luck with that.
  23. That's them played 20 seconds against us this season and taken 6 points. We CAN catch them. Plenty of time.
  24. And obviously the one before it too. No chance we're getting a clean sheet.
