  1. Kenny's put in some fantastic deliveries today, from corners and free kicks, all came to nothing though. Still 0-2!
  2. Or the ones that sign them. The last centre half we signed was Haddad, and that was 2 seasons ago.
  3. Sutton. Cross looped to back post and knocked back across, Dilo nowhere, Sutton taps in.
  4. Goodwin flashes a header wide from another fantastic McLean corner. Head in hands from the captain, he knows he should have done better.
  5. It certainly couldn't be going any worse really. Both our rivals winning, us losing and Gowser injured and we haven't even played 30 minutes. Even Morton are winning! Goals knocked the stuffing out us. We look nervous and edgy, the fans are nervous and edgy. Long way back from here. Things... Can only get ...
  6. Game over at 1-0 with 70 minutes to go? Ha. Gowser off (he's really injured this time) Wylde on.
  7. Ball over the top, Dilo came, hesitated, and allowed the left mid to roll it into Anier who tapped it in. Horrible goal to lose. It's all uphill from here.
  8. 1-0 Motherwell Dilo at fault, anier taps in.
  9. Sutton peels off and heads just wide, Well having a spell of dominance.
  10. Saints started well. McGinns playing deep beside Goodwin and Newton is the right sided attacking mid, with a Kenny on the left and Gowser at number 10.
  11. Nielsen makes stunning save from close range header from I think Cheesy after corner.
  12. Apart from Mathers. How bad must our youth keeper be if Danny would rather have him on the bench?
  13. When was the last time that team started?
  14. I do like the look of the team, if Teales not fully fit then I think the selector(s) have got it right.
  15. Two changes, Gowser and Cheesy replace Wylde and Campbell. Glad both the wingers have been dropped, they were rubbish last week, although would have liked to see Teale start. Nice to see Gowser has made such a rapid recovery from that mysterious 'injury' that afflicted him in Celtics title winning week.
  16. Glad it's been banned. No need for it, if you want atmosphere, sing.
  17. Good, drove by it last night and had to take a double take when I seen the UVF paraphernalia. Whoever thought it was appropriate to leave that at the scene of a young mans death really needs their head examined. As for the crash itself, it's lucky that no innocent victims were involved. That's a residential area with a lot of kids and people walking around, especially at that time on a Saturday morning. Had the young man taken out a family as he crashed at high speed then I don't think he'd be getting as much sympathy.
  18. Games between the teams in Paisley are normally tight affairs. There hasn't been more than 1 goal between the teams in any of the league matches at our new stadium, a lot of draws and the odd 1 goal win for both teams. Think will be the same this weekend. I'm predicting a nervy affair which we will just edge with a last minute winner.
  19. Liquidation and application for a new club to the lowland league looking likely now. Good. I can't stand Hearts and will dance on their cheating grave when they die. Glad we pumped them in what will hopefully be their last ever final. Maybe their last ever game will be in Paisley on the final day of season? Hopefully pump them then too That's what happens when you sell your soul to the devil. You get some good times, cup wins, European trips, etc. Then the good times stop and it's time to go to hell.
  20. I think Thistle will lose and we will win this weekend. Would I bet money on it? Nope, it's just a prediction, and as you'll see by looking at the prediction league, people get them wrong a lot. As for Teale's goal scoring record, I agree it's certainly been poor, he's never scored in the league for us. I think it can be explained by a clichee. Teale plays as an 'old fashioned winger'. By that I mean he will end every game with chalk on his studs as he spends the entire game hogging the touch line. Guys like Campbell and Wylde play the same position differently, they come inside constantly, and therefore get far more opportunities. Teales m/o, is beat a man, hit the line and cross the ball, he doesn't shoot often compared to most wide players we've had in the past and the others we have just now. His lack of goals is offset by his huge amount of assists in my opinion.
  21. Teale best two men and put in a fantastic cross for McLean, who then forced a superb save from Brill, in what was our only good chance after they went down to ten, that's pretty tangible if you ask me. He also actually had less space against 10 than Campbell and Wylde had against 11, because ICT shut up shop after the sending off and played for a point. He was superb for all of last season and was deservedly in the top 3 of this sites POTY fans poll, he assisted goals in the semi and the final. However he's getting on a bit and clearly has fitness issues so I would also be reticent to offer him a new deal. Doesn't mean he's not got something to offer between now and the end of the season and he's certainly earned a starting spot ahead of Wylde/Campbell. As for your bet, no thanks. Just cause I think something's going to happen doesn't mean I'm willing to bet my forum membership on it, jeez.
  22. Agreed. Teale did more in the 26 minutes he had on Saturday than Campbell and Wylde did in their combined 128. The old legend is definitely due a start, even if we do only get 60 minutes or so out of him, he's just so much better than the two aforementioned youngsters. Well have had a midweek trip to Sneck and their squad is apparently pretty stretched for this one. We should be fresher and there's more at stake for us. Therefore I'm confident we will get at least a point, infact I'm going to go as far as to say that I don't think we will be 11th at 5pm on Saturday.
  23. I think it might. We took around 1600 there in November did we not? Will certainly be a lot than that, Friday night attendances seem to be higher than Saturday afternoon games for whatever reason, plus it's end of season crunch time. 2000 would be the absolute minimum I'd expect us to take. Slightly disappointed the Killie away game is the midweek one, but I'd certainly rather that than it was the last game of the season.
