  1. What utter garbage, they aren't giving him 'all the credit.' It's a short statement regarding a perfectly valid record. I assume from your response you must of posted a similar comment panning Hinchcliffe for getting 'all the credit' when he set that previous record? How would you of worded that paragraph? a breakdown of what our back four was like in the eight clean sheets in a row? It's clear your dislike for Sammy goes beyond the player performance. Can't even bring yourself to show credit where credit is due.
  2. And they all were... including Sammy. He made some really important saves and hardly put a foot wrong. Can only judge him on what he had to do, you seem to be judging him on past experiences.
  3. Started off so well. Guess I must just be a happy clapper for wanting to defend my club and it's employees... A happy clapper and a bully apparently Or is that more deflection?
  4. Saying there is no bullying or abuse is not deflection, it's fact
  5. How's it a daft post, you said constructive criticism, I simply pointed out a lot of posts are in no way constructive. Don't see how hammering Sammy is constructive either. The decison has been made, you won't change it with a personal vendetta, let it go. Personally I think he improved massively the last half of the season... This I witnessed with my own eyes.
  6. LPM saying my comments are all boo related!.. I don't know what to do with that. As for deflection, I don't deflect. I've given very clear evidence for negative points you've made that simply aren't true and as for your opinion only points, I don't think I've ever seen a positive one. Forgive me if that's disappointing to me on a St Mirren forum. As for the abuse and bully comments. Unless the definition of those words have changed, I haven't seen any of that (Well calling someone a fluffer possibly) but feel free to get yourself over to the BBC, maybe they could do with a good laugh. You can do it right after you contact the FCA with your fraud allegations
  7. But when you are consistently in the minority, over and over and over again... Eventually the penny must drop. Especially when posted viewpoints are done often with zero evidence.
  8. How constructive is a post claiming SMISA/ St Mirren incitement? Was that short enough?
  9. As soon as someone is critical of someone like you, Shull or LPM they're automatically a 'happy clapper' or 'super fan.' You'd think after so many years being in the extreme minority of so many debates the 'happy clapper' chat would be shown to be nonsense and it would be coming clearer your mindsets are just set to the negative. The validity of those points = very questionable
  10. That’s okay, a quick skim should of been all it took to rip apart your point
  11. You could of fooled me, how does it save St Mirren and how is it ''constructive criticism' to: State (not even accuse but state) St Mirren and SMISA are breaking the law Actively pan BTB because they don't agree with aspects of it (possibly to the point where other members have cancelled subscriptions) Criticise Jack Ross as an average/ poor manager because he lost a few games when he took over and got Alloa relegated even after their fate had all but been sealed Hammer any St Mirren players as 'nowhere near good enough' for League 1 in England. Ridicule a £1 million price tag for a St Mirren player Criticise a board decision that will literally generate more income helping safeguard the team and our potential top flight survival (Sevco/ Celtic in the family stand) I could go on They don't seem overlay 'constructive' in preserving our club. Can't imagine it being good for Rangers if they were offered £5 million for a player and fans were screaming 'He's only worth £20 quid' Probably a wasted post this, we know you don't read further than 20 words
  12. I think that could be reasonable with add ons however as a club we're in a postion not to be reasonable and say 'if he's going this year it's X amount and no less' Who knows though
  13. A transfer fee trebling for a player with six months on his contract to two full years is in no way, shape or form unusual. Magennis has the potential that Morgan has so I think £1 million (and a sell on) is the least we should be asking for. Otherwise wait another season. If Sunderland wanted our McGinn (which I don’t see) then they’d have to stump up given his contract length as well. Unless he has a release clause I suppose.
  14. Jesus an admission of being wrong!? Get your lottery tickets on tonight lads. The occasional, selective poster that’s posted more than a dozen times on this one thread in 24 hours has actually backed down on a point!
  15. St Mirren were a big step up from Alloa as well... you are being needlessly negative, just as you always are. Oh well, more fool me for ‘biting’
  16. It’s went from one, to two, to a small number. You’re well on your way back to a full time member. Indeed you’re back to posting more than the majority of members do. Might as well ask Div to get use of the old name back now. Your opinion IMO is needlessly negative, that’s why you get responses and that’s always been what you want on here bites. You aren’t fooling anyone by simply saying don’t respond. I won’t hold my breath that you’ll admit you are wrong if JR is a success, like you’ve twisted it to ‘he’s just a first team coach’ (which is clearly not true.) when you were proven wrong that there was no way he’d be the Sunderland manager. You abruptly left this forum under your previous name and can’t help yourself coming back because you’ve clearly missed people responding to your negativity, poor show mate As for Magennis it just proves you’re here for bites and have no intention of trying to see the positive in the team you ‘support’ he has the potential that warrants a £1 million price tag. We have no need to sell him this summer and he’ll be a massive loss. The way prices are inflated in world football, that’s the way things are.
  17. Fully aware of the other teams finances to an extent where he’d comment on it. Come on Stuart, enough with the twisting. Although i’ll Happy put my hands up if you have the interview. I’m not nearly as stubborn or negative about fact based evidence as yourself
  18. Pitiful Stuart. Utterly and truly. You’re contempt for St Mirren and Jack Ross knows no bounds with that inaccurate and unfair comparison. It’s Unfortunate you were clearly talking nonsense about only commenting on the SMISA thread with this new username. I suppose no one believed that from the start anyway.
  19. Insisted on Fowler coming over, I don’t see anyone coming in that Ross doesn’t want to coach the team he manages. That’s the rightful approach as well. Not sure why you hold these other people bringing in staff in higher regards that Jack ross. Do you know their history as well as you know Jack Ross’?
  20. There was an interview last season saying we couldn’t compete with what Falkirk and Dunfermline were paying their players. Falkirk also came out and said they were given a bigger budget than previous seasons to go for it. I never seen davids interview, but I’d be surprised if he said that or was actually fully aware of the finances.
  21. What do you base him being the wrong choice on? Simply because of the size of the club which is something unproven. Not in his remarkable turnaround in a very short period of time. Not on him schooling managers in the Championship with much more experience not on him running away with a league where he had the 5th biggest budget not on his player recruitment (okay they weren’t all winners but there isn’t a manager who has all winners. Plus the number of new recruits, bearing in mind football is an 11 player sport, there was an expectation players wouldn’t make it) two MOTY awards several MOTM awards. His professionalism, enthusiasm, ambition. Seems like you have a lot to be positive about his chances of doing well are but have zeroed in on very weak arguments for him not being the right choice. In the size of Sunderland and that he’s not Alex Ferguson...
  22. I think thats a bit of nit picking if I’m honest Stuart. When I talk about his responsibilities I mean around footballing appointments. players, coaching staff, the same as you’d expect from any manager. To say the chairman will hire an adviser and I imagine you mean put together some executives and directors no doubt. That’s not something that is any new managers responsibility from what I can see.
  23. Did you really expect anymore in the short time he was here that saving us from relegation then immediately getting us promotion? And people say you’re never happy... we also had a smaller budget than four teams. Falkirk, ICT, Dunfermline and United. He won the league by 12 points with an average budget. Not sure if that’s what you’re eluding to or that after league 1, he doesn’t have the ability to be a quality championship/ EPL manager. Again it would be a negative assumption.
