Kenikeli
hello! this motherboard was in a friends comp, which started to smell funny then lost sound. it came in a pre built Mesh computer. there are 3 transistor type/capacitor things which I can clearly see frazzled. Unfortunately a quick google search only shows up foreign, ie European, languages (not English) websites. So! To get to the point... can the board be repaired by a good shop, or would it be as cheap cost-wise to source a SATA motherboard that supports AGP and DDR400 RAM? the rest will just click into place. Could be wrong here...but most PC repair shops won't even touch it.They'll just tell you to replace the motherboard...too fiddly to buy in all the small components, not to mention the fact that you really need to be an electrical engineer to tackle all that gubbins. try This site...you can find pretty much all the components you need for a reasonable price.
