Poor old Pearce suffered a collossal "foot in mouth" moment last night commenting on the England v Norway women's world cup match live on BBC3 tv. With about an hour played, England had just gone 0-1 down and the Norwegians were piling on the pressure trying to kill the game. Pearce was critical of England's defending.
