Bud the Baker
Historians are suggesting that James Stewart did not murder Colin Campbell in 1752 and are pointing the finger at Campbell family underboss Mungo and that in a similar manner to the climax of The Godfather Mungo used the death of a family member as a pretext for removing his rivals. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-36498517 The killing was also a key subplot in Robert Lewis Stevenson's novel Kidnapped - for me Michael Caine is the definitive Allan Breck Stewart in the 1971 film version but there is plenty of room for overacting consider the old ham-meister Peter O'Toole as Rob Roy McGregor in the 1960 version or Donald Pleasance as Uncle Ebenezer - naughty, naughty, very naughty!
