Buffs
Watched this last night. The history of Panini stickers. It was quite interesting as one of the people interviewed, when he was a wee boy, had only 1 sticker to complete his album. The sticker he needed was the holy grail, the St Mirren shiney badge. He has never forgotten this. I completed the 1985 season album. I waited for Ian Rush for weeks!
Geordie Saint
Meant to watch that then forgot . My 1st memory of the saints was that of being the team in black and white stripes on the very back page of those albums. Used to cut the saints crest from the corner of my swaps and stick them on light switches and sockets in my room as a kid.
FTOF
What channel was it on? I completed a couple in the late 70's and early 80's. Completed the 1982 world cup one. Last card I needed was Marco Tardelli. Last shiny badge was Tunisia. The number of times my lunch money was spent on those cards. Nowadays there's probably a helpline for card addicts.
