  1. Cheers. Aye, checked fixtures on BBC site last night and a few alterations had appeared. Can spend on travel with some certainty now.
  2. 😄 Aye I was thinking the same re TV likelihood. Probably being over cautious. Guessing if anyone KO'd late that weekend they might have an unfair advantage when it comes to top/bottom 6. Eg play for a draw knowing the outcome of their rivals game.
  3. I see tickets now on sale for that Ross Co game I'm interested in. Still not booked travel incase of any possible fixture change. Wondering with it being the last round of fixtures before the split, do all the games need to KO at the same time? Think Rangers are have a Europa game on the Thursday before so there's will have to move.
  4. That's me got the St Patricks day double of Saints and Newcastle winning the league cup. I don't otherwise give a shite about St Patricks day but it will always be a day of great memories.
  5. 👍 A life long ambition to see NUFC win a major trophy before I kick it has been fulfilled and I'm just so content and relieved. 70 years man. As the game went on I was thinking what a chance this is but didn't dare believe until that final whistle went. Still sinking in. Hopefully just the start.
  6. Wondered if the TV companies were holding back to see where clubs were lying going into the split before making their picks. Unlikely to be chosen but don't want to shell out on trains just in case.
  7. Speaking of the Ross Co game, above. Anyone have any idea when fixture times/dates will be finalised for this particular weekend? Time is money regards booking trains.
  8. What a fantastic, memory inducing strip that 80s one is. Love it!
  9. Mmm, sounds like we best tread carefully . Turning our attention to Ross Co at home on April 12th instead so maybe more availability. Looks like no TV picks decided for that weekend, possibly with it being the last weekend before the split? Highly unlikely to be televised but still holding off booking any trains for now.
  10. Looking at tickets for the Killie home game and seat selection is very limited. W6 and W7 always seemed like they were a bit of a sit anywhere free for all. Is that still the case? Haven't done a home game for a while.
  11. Unfortunately the gap in class was too evident in front of goal last night, along with poor decision making. Diving in to concede that pen so close to half time and occasionally holding onto the ball for too long for example. Poor decision making from the officials too with our would be penalty incident while we were still in the game. An encouraging performance none the less.
  12. You could be raking it in at the bookies elvis given you're so sure of the outcome of games.
  13. Watched that too. Thought the bits they showed in the recap of the game made it look like a completely different game to their main highlights. The recap looked much more positive from a saints point of view.
  14. Sorry if I've missed it smfc25 but where would you have travelled from? I had a similar experience with last seasons pittodrie game at new year. Was actually on the train up from Newcastle not knowing if it would go ahead. Thankfully it did and I witnessed another 3-0 up there, although they're becoming quite common.
  15. Even though I was only 9 at the time I still have a fond memory of my mam taking me to see him at Newcastle civic centre in 1977 and hearing his "Howay the lads" quote in his speech. It really endeared him to the Geordie crowd. He set up an exchange of people between Tyneside and the state of Georgia on the back of that visit.
