    • I couldn't be arsed picking apart his ludicrous post so thanks.
    • Yes comrade however just to dispute that 1st point 3 years into a special military operation where Ukraine has been supported admittedly but is now advancing its own tech (cruise missiles etc) and Russia gets poorer. The help has made the skies no fly zones for Russia and with no help the black sea leet sunk or hiding in port. Will Russia win, I still say perhaps but at what cost as Unlike Russia who are trying to do blitz style attacks Ukraine are targeting their Oil industry and military /Transport infra. 2nd point about the former soviet puppet states, by which I presume you mean the NATO members Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, East Germany....and many more but you get my point. Russia has a manpower advantage on Ukraine and it costs them many live to take each m2 but bear in mind the equipment that Ukraine has is mostly Soviet era or slightly newer F16, M1a1, Leopard 1. If Russia attacked their other ex states those states are now mostly armed now with later generation or certainly better equipment in the form of Artillery, aircraft and vehicles those states would be joined by the rest of NATO even if that did not include the USA. So the military of Finland, Norway, Sweden, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Turkey (which means entry and exit from the black sea is now closed to them), Italy, Greece.....again you get the picture. At that point aside from its option to go nuclear Russia is fecked all ways up.   As I said Trump is the wildcard but even Republicans in America are starting to turn on him.   End of the day after WW2 and during the coldwar when it was the Warsaw pact Russia was a Big Scary Bear, now it is more of a Koala where the biggest risk to Europe is it pissing on them and giving them a disease but its claws are pointless.
    • I agree. They took Goodwin on the strength of a 7 game winning streak without taking into consideration the quality of some of the opposition. I would suggest, once bitten... SR's recent record is nowhere near that and, let's be honest, while the semi final was exceptional, Celtic played a big part in their own downfall. Since then, and before, we haven't exactly set the heather on fire.
