  1. I had to laugh when we were singing "Motherwell's a sh**hole, I want to go home..." {'d never been before, and that was my impression, too.
  2. Ach, I can understand how a gutted Motherwell fan might want to punch gloating Saints fans. I'm not condoning it, but losing like that hurts. I was very diplomatic when I spoke to the Well fans afterwards. LOL It's a very emotional game.
  3. What happened? I chatted to a few of their supporters before and after the game and they were very pleasant. Not sure I would've been so nice had we just lost on penalties in fact.
  4. Who would you prefer, Aberdeen or Killie? I'd prefer Killie. 1) They're not as good as Aberdeen. 2) If there's a replay I don't fancy going to Aberdeen. Thoughts?
  5. I'm not long in. Fish and chips in the oven. Tired but ecstatic. I will remember this for a long, long time.
  6. The strangest game I have ever seen in my life. Best £12 I have ever spent. I was saying at half time that we can't throw away a 3 goal lead. But all's well that ends well.
  7. Final Dot Count: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/motherwellfc/EDP/Event/Index/158 SL2: 27 tickets sold SL3: 89 tickets sold Total = 116 tickets sold I'm guessing an away support of 500.
  8. So when will the game be played, is the $1,000,000 question?
  9. I don't think so, no. Is there one in the West End? Aye, The Ubiquitous Chip's nice. If you're back in Paisley, Leonardo's is a new Italian restaurant on the Paisley/Glasgow boundary. I found it to be excellent, but I know people who have not had good service in there.
  10. I found the service in there to be dreadful last time I visited, and it's very expensive for what it is. But aye, handy if you're meeting folk I suppose.
  11. 😂😂😂 Why would somebody create an alias for a football forum?! I have to admit the 'banter' on here is pretty harsh, and often I'm unsure whether it's genuine or not. Plus I find one or two posters hard to take seriously...
  12. I agree. It almost certainly will impact the crowd, now. This is the BBC's weather forecast up until March: I'm wondering when the game is likely to be played. But I suppose it's up to the referee at the end of the day. Hopefully he'll show some common sense.
  13. With respect to your last sentence, the only certain decision that can be made is for the game to be postponed as even if the pitch is considered playable tonight, there could be a huge downpour tomorrow. I cannot really see any issue with players' health and safety, I mean it's not as though the players are likely to be swallowed up in the mud. However I appreciate what you're saying about the feasibility of playing a game, but I am sure matches used to be played on very muddy pitches. This famous goal comes to mind: I'd even argue it's part and parcel of the game: Neil Warnock: How to face a muddy fixture
  14. I'm not sure when it will be played, then. The forecast is for rain in Motherwell for the next few weeks. Does it really matter if it's played in a quagmire?
  15. That's an understatement. I am counting the dots three times a day...
  16. I am reluctant to comment on this, as I am not in possession of all the facts. To do otherwise amounts to speculation. https://www.kibble.org - info gleaned from the website indicates it's a children's charity. I can see why a relationship with such a charity might be mutually beneficial - football being a good, wholesome activity and the club helping local children and potentially growing our fan base. It costs the club very little to allow kids to sit in unsold seats, for example. The charity certainly has a large income: https://www.oscr.org.uk/about-charities/search-the-register/charity-details?number=SC026917 What are people's concerns about the charity's involvement? Personally I cannot see any problem. It's clearly a professionally run organisation and if the club can benefit from the charity's management, then all is good. I think the club and the charity have some shared aims, and can work together.
  17. Dot Count: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/motherwellfc/EDP/Event/Index/158 SL2: 19 seats sold SL3: 87 seats sold Total = 106 seats sold I suspect SL4 tickets have been sent to the Saint Mirren club shop, and many Saints supporters will just pay on the night. I'm predicting a travelling support of around 500, which is a bit of a shame given that under 16s can get in for just £3! Anyone know how many buses are running? COYS.
  18. Gentleman! We're all Saints supporters, Paisley Buddies - a fraternity. The black and white brother (and sister) hood Let's not fall out. May you reconcile your differences and henceforth live in peace.
  19. I purchased a ticket from Well directly and it clearly states sit where you want. Just checked mine, and they don't state that. But good to know, cheers.
  20. Strange comment. You think I'm masquerading as a St. Mirren supporter? LOL I've had a lot of time on my hands recently, which is unusual for me.
