It doesn’t change anything so Mandron scored on Saturday great but it doesn’t alter the fact he’s not a prolific goalscorer and it might be another 10 games until his next goal.

Olasanya & Mandron could play for 20 seasons and not score 20 goals between them, I’m afraid unless we sign someone special before 11:30pm tonight we are in trouble up front as we have zero goal threat in our strikers, Van Veen would have been perfect.

I met the guy who has him on his books earlier this year and he said not very complementary things about him, not his ability but more where his head is, so possibly that’s why he didn’t get much game time and why he’s gone.

Looks like Crystal Palace are finalising the deal and he’ll be transferred before the deadline, get the feeling this could be another Riyad Mahrez slipping through our grasp.
