  1. Willock certainly isn't better than Smith based on his appearances thus far. I wholeheartedly agree on Cammy Smith potentially leaving. If, as now looks very likely, Smith does head out the door, Stubbs will have demonstrated that he is absolutely f**king clueless. I also think the BoD will have been guilty of a serious act of neglect in allowing it to happen. Smith departing and Miller arriving? That is utterly farcical. It beggars belief, in fact. f**king idiots!
  2. In summary then.... He should stay and be permitted to build a team based on his record of signing players who are well off the standard required????
  3. Jim was my pick. That's not to say it would have worked out, but at least he has a genuine regard for the club and fans. That would have been a start.
  4. I caught a HT summary on Radio Shortbread of the Celtic v Hamilton game. The verdict was that Hamilton were very disciplined and well drilled. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Martin Canning. A guy that was thrown in at the deep end after Alex Neil left. A guy with no previous managerial experience at any level. Despite this, he has somehow managed to keep his club in the top league for several seasons. Now, my position on Stubbs was that he only had to be better (or at least as capable) than the likes of Canning, McCann and whoever would be managing Livingston at any given point. It is the absence of any consistent tactics, little planning in evidence, and a complete failure to execute the basics that is so alarming even this early in the season. Like Stubbs, Canning was a defender, but it seems that he has drawn on this and made his team hard to break down. As things stand, our defending has been the most shambolic element in terms of the many deficiencies on display.
  5. That being the case, he has clearly lost the f**king plot and has to go.
  6. That is exactly what struck me when I watched his interview. It was an absolutely baffling response to the question. Bizarre. I don't enjoy watching someone who is so ill at ease, but I'm afraid I enjoy even less the fact that he is the man at the helm of my club's on-field (mis)fortunes. Christ, it is all a bit demoralising to say the least.
  7. Will Scott and Fitzpatrick be willing to acknowledge that they got this appointment badly wrong, though? It doesn't reflect well on them, and I'm not convinced that they will be ready to hold their hands up any time soon. It will take more than a round or two of boos.
  8. What a bizarre post. I assume you are just trolling now. Either way, you are coming across as a bit of a fanny.
  9. Yes and no. It was the only genuine passion I seen out there today (aside from Danny Mullen, who looked as though he gave a shit).
  10. He was better in the 2nd half because Livingston were content to sit off a bit given their lead. He looks like a player who would do better in a league where players have more time on the ball. That isn't this league, unfortunately. There might well be a player in there, but I don't think he is suited to where we are just now.
  11. Aye, was the very thing I said to my mate at the time. Very ill-judged. I don't want to trash Stubbs, I just haven't seen anything to suggest that he will turn this around. I'm concerned, but more likely to become apathetic than angry the longer this goes on. There definitely seems to be a bad vibe around the club just now. I hope it will be short lived, but the signs aren't positive just now.
  12. He didn'twant to be out there today, going by his body language. That shocked me as much as anything else.
  13. I'm not excusing it, but there is clearly something far wrong as it is unlike him.
  14. Hard to disagree with this. Based on what I've seen so far, and how Stubbs has spoken, I have no confidence that he can turn this round. Sadly, I think the rumours about unrest within the squad look very plausible. I carefully watched the likes of McGinn and Magennis this afternoon, and there really weren't enjoying their fitba one little bit. When that is the case, there tends to be an underlying issue. No point in calling for his head, though, as there is no way that Scott will bag him just now. Not a chance.
  15. Noticed that too. It lends credence to the rumour that Smith has been told he can find another club.
  16. What an abysmal showing today. Shockingly bad. There was no cohesion, no spirit, and no direction. I'm afraid Stubbs has to carry the can for that, but I doubt he will. Derek Ferguson is correct - we have regressed. That was as bad as it ever was in the dark days of Murray and Rae, and I can't see it getting any better as there is clearly something amiss around the club just now. When Stephen McGinn looks to have chucked, you know we are in major trouble.
  17. Absolute f**king insanity. If that is Stubbs doing, he can get to f**k I'm afraid.
  18. There is something badly amiss here. Very worrying.
