  1. Was unsure about the throw in at the goal. I wasn't sure. Could have went either way. Had it been a Saturday I would have been apoplectic had it went against me. Other than that thoroughly enjoyed the game. A lot if bodies with points to prove, myself included cheers everyone.
  2. Buchanan st next to the underground. Big footprint in a competitive environment.
  3. can only echo what Gareth said above. Played last week with a stubbed toe. I know its only a toe, but sore when I kicked the ball. Seems to have cleared up and I owe a decent performance. We shall see.
  4. As stated elsewhere - not the best game. I'll stick my hand up to that. then to compound matters - just to reinforce the poor decision making, opted to go home over the Erskine Bridge. foggy and Road works, diverted to Bowling. shite all round
  5. Alan irvines true awesomeness was aided and abetted by his partner mark mcwalters
  6. You know that's nonsense Ben. We could have had the game out of sight. Poor finishing all round.
  7. We hear too often Lennon is a lovely man. We never hear that he actually is ruthless in the dressing room. To be honest my issue isn't really that he is lovely as opposed to be tactically inept. He has assembled a decent squad of talented players, however he needs to assemble a team. Where different individuals perform a variety of roles. They can't all be ball playing midfielders, someone needs to win the ball. He can't be nice, he needs to good. If p Goods no use, then lucky will do.
  8. If you're short tomorrow (in players, not height) let me know.
  9. Must have been quite a game on par with the battle of the Somme. A rediculous casualty rate. How far down am I div?
  10. Whilst logged on sorry to hear about you wrist Richard. Hope it's a full and painless recovery.
  11. Genuinely feel for Richard I go on holiday and it goes to shit. Get well soon Richard.
  12. cheers for the thought however you'll be sweating about half a stone and I'll be in Amsterdam fair swap. Cheers.
  13. Touche (or is that Toupe?) Does captain tantrum have all his toys?
  14. If they had Kris Boyd then I must be Billy Mehmet, Decent chances and sod all to show for it (Although more hair)
  15. Good Game again. Bayern deserved the win. wroked harder and were more compact, Howver, your captain wants to have a good long look at himself after the two "penalty" and I use the word lightly he threw his toys righ out to the pram. The claim for the Bibless hit the defenders back. the only claim came from Captain Tantrum (50yards away), The terrors was goalbound with the defenders arm in an unnatural position (to use the parlance) Again, it was good game, however the heat was stifling. Anyway, I'm off on holiday so I might be back by Christmas
  16. Couldn't agree more. These are easily the most fun games and least seriously taken games I have played in. Really good fun, competition can be good - but only to see who will win the donkey trophy
  17. A thought that crossed my mind too. 32 players gives 4 teams. A second evening gives a very mini league. This would enhance the competition. Oven the numbers if you drop out (why ever) you will be out for months. Some guys will never play. Charlie.
  18. inclined to agree with the consensus. Best (and hardest) game yet. hard to believe there was no scoring after 20 minutes. Both sides having a good keeper was key to the game. both sides were well organised and denied each other space. I'm off to work on my finishing and left foot.
