What a strange game. First half we were soo far off it. Second half, totally deserved the win. Can we talk about the referee performance? Farcical, embarrassing and below professional standards doesn’t even begin to explain it. Start to finish. Winning the game and that being the stand out point is how bad it really is. Yet nothing gets done about it! Media don’t talk about it. Managers can’t talk about it. Any other profession it just wouldn’t stand!

Hope this game can see us turn a big corner. Win, and I’m sure we will. However - if we don’t, it’s gonna blow confidence .

Didn’t see the game. Watched the highlights - how their second goal stood is beyond me & Tansers sending off…. Well…. It’s enough to make you want to chuck watching the game tbh

Pretty concerning stuff this season so far. keeper is a liability at cross balls (thought a good shot stopper). defence - Gogic looks nervy and not a lot of cover in this area. middle of the park leaving gaps and always slow/turning back. aside from Olaysanya up top - we are poor. Other teams have improved - I dare say we’ve went backwards

I agree - need to look at next week as a ‘this is where the league starts’ because the upcoming games are against teams we can compete with and should do anyway. Got to agree re: Mandron and Ayunga not at the right level.

He is usually mr negative but the performances against Utd, Aberdeen and today (yes there’s a gulf) would indicate we are not in good form and we need a serious turn around inform to compete for top 6. not winning second balls, leaving gaps in the middle of the pitch in front of your own box weekly and not learning from it is not good. Add to that we rely on Olusanya getting us out of holes is just not good enough at this level.

He’s dying to find a penalty. It’s actually embarrassing. We have not won a second ball. Ayunga is soo far off the pace it’s frightening. We aren’t very good at all tbh

Agree with this tbh FS! the keeper was very very poor with cross balls & middle of the pitch was AWOL. Smyth just doesn’t cut it for me, I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see a player there yet. Does anyone know how long O’Hara, Andernian, Kiltie and Munce will be out? 2 of them back would be huge!

He is not happy, rightly so! Most concerning is that our first choice modelled (Ohara, Kiltie, Boyd Munce, Adernian) all injured for a while…. Fan-f**kin-tastic

Home from game now and have to say, we look poor. I’ve said on here a few times but our central midfield positions are our weakness. Smyth honestly, at times, looks like he’s never played football before. Our squad is thread bare - could be doing with O’Hara, Boyd-Munce, Kiltie all the be fit, would really make a difference.

Every corner and cross ball is a potential goal against. very very poor today!

A hard evening ahead - particularly if we are indeed without Gogic, O’Hara and BM. With the games played this season/qualifiers - the gaps in the middle of the pitch, inviting teams on to us at times is our weakness, so these guys missing is an issue. I’d take shulls pens prediction all day, as the windfall of cash from another leg would be as SR suggests ‘a game changer for us’

With the pressure off us and Hearts already guaranteed their place, I hope we go out, put on a good performance and get the result. players and staff deserve a big applause at the end regardless

This is the first European venture in my lifetime. Can’t wait to see who we get and will do all I can to make the away game (I’ll be at the home tie).
