  1. It would be good if the site could have some good downloadable SMFC desktop wallpapers / screensavers. Judging by some of the sig graphics on here, there are some talented graphic artists out there. Themes ? Legends past & present; GHR/LS ; etc. Div could collate them and stick 'em on the B&W site for downloads ?
  2. "Dog Eat Dog........Eat Cat Too !" Anyway, chillin' to Mr.Guy (whose "Best of....." was the 30 minute soundtrack over the PA at Hampden before AC/DC)
  3. Really enjoyable CD. Virtually zero TCF rantings, great tunes, superb lyrics covering all emotions.
  4. Sure was HH. Y'all don't take any o' that sheet y'all
  5. Happy Mondays - "Kinky Afro" Live 2007 (Mount Fuji) on youtube Mr.Ryder appears "jet-lagged". Reminds me, Ryder & Bez once signed my Saints top (Clanford "Juve").
  6. 1996, and a pile of Buds up the back of the big tent at T in the (Strathclyde) Park. Great daze Spacedubtastic great mate.
  7. I'm "not working" on FF. I cannot use my ID. No explanation - nothing. How paranoid are these guys ?* If you register and don't post, you might get binned. If you do post, you get flung out anyway. *Actually, their "paranoia" is bang on given what most people seem to be trying to do
  8. Why not ! I think Shull is still registered on FF - he'll be right up for it !
  9. I am old enough to know better, but it was too good to resist. I have registered with Follow Follow (a truly astonishing place - I thought the Govt had rules about websites inciting racial/religious hatred ?). I had a previous "run-out" and was immediately banned/blackballed. This time I have gone underground, a "sleeper" if you will. If the 25th April goes the way we all hope, then I will emege from the shadows to unleash a torrent of abuse and general wind-up-ery on FF. Any more Buds fancy joining the sleeper cell ? It would be ace if FF was infiltrated by 20+ SMFC fans , giving it both barrels to the currants on their own site. It would be even better if it was co-ordinated, so that each time a post was locked, or a ban issued, another Bud crept out the woodwork. If anyone signs up, the let us know on this thread. PRAISE BE TO BUDDISM ! GUS IS GOOD !
  10. Glad you took it in the spirit it was meant. That sort of stuff is ace, and without it there would be no New Order, and from that no Happy Mondays. Oh dear, my case is failing. I recall Oasis having a 20 minute 70s disco soundtrack prior to them appearing (albeit briefly) at the Barras in Dec 94. Changed days ! Listening to:
  11. Just proof of my "Peter Grant" musical taste (ie. very catholic...but not necessarily any good). Cracking live album from 23+ years ago (I bought my LP in Littlewoods on the High Street as Stereo One had sold out - they had a fecking huge "Eddie" window display).
  12. Listened to the Electronic 1st album last night - first time in ages, and still sounded excellent. Not much filler, and the live set at the Barras in late 91 was ace, marred only by Smiths obsessives turning up and staring at Johnny Marr, but clearly not enjoying the output.
  13. Ian Harte at training yesterday.... (ETA Sorry Gary - couldn't help myself !)
  14. Seeing as the transfer window is open, I am issuing a "Come and get me plea". Count me in - Squad No. 12 T-Shirt getting organised (Size: Jocky Wilson) Being holier than thou is hard when you live 220 miles away.
  15. Let me guess - he also used to tell you that when the ice cream vans played their tune, it was to announce they had sold out ? I liked Sid/Jerry's bit about everything being shut. It was part of the festive fun - try and estimate, then buy, enough booze to see you through one of the heaviest periods of bevvying in the calendar. Once you had inevitably run out after 24 hours, it was an amusing challenge to try and blag enough freebies by going to parties at people's houses you would never dream of going to in a million years.....and be civil enough with them until a few cans of Tartan was offered
  16. 1. Aber 2. Macca 3. Deek Hamilton 4. Norrie (a 90s Bobby Reid ?) 5. Dibble
