  1. Hoping to get something as county have 3 very tough fixtures coming up. A point here and 4 from the next 6 would be brilliant and give us daylight. And hopefully get on terms with Motherwell, who by all accounts must be in trouble to bring Pearson back, watched him in th IPL and he was shit. Let's get a run going COYS
  2. I f**king hate St Mirren, just do it the easy way once in a while, Well done to the boys for a great win and for showing the dig required for the situation we find ourselves in, and wooly hats off to the fans who braved that journey and weather. Happy going to bed tonight and finally worth staying up late in Oz for a great result COYS
  3. Biggest and the longest 45 minutes for a long long time, should be out of sight but instead we will be hanging on with the shakiest defence we've had for years, fingers crossed COYS
  4. Looks like county have a good few missing today so hopefully we go and give a positive display for the fans who have taken dedication to extremes and travelled up, COYS
  5. St Mirren caretaker manager Gary Teale has pledged to bring in two new strikers in time for next weekend's relegation scrap with Ross County. (Various) Seen this and hope he backs it up and they are fit and ready to get punted straight in
  6. Aim a bit higher than the shite we seem to be served, if they say no then so be it, much rather try for a better quality than get shite from non league in England. It's time for tried and tested rather than just cheap and no very cheery
  7. Just throwing in a few CB names that it feel could do a job, offer to pay Rangers £1000 a week of Zaliukas wages and get him on loan. 2 free agents just now are Sean St Ledger, he's struggled the last 2 years but def has quality. Offer him a pay as you play deal and do the same with Joseph Yobo, he's 34 now but could offer great experience for a fair wage. Just 3 guys who will be desperate to play and we could offer a platform, plus they are miles better than the guff we have just now
  8. The only urgency with st Mirren just now is the urgency to gift teams f**king goals. Get a manager in place on Monday, get the players we have in mind signed up and FFS get some fight into this squad. The feeling was we needed an experienced manager and we all knew we needed a couple of defenders and strikers, it's nearly mid January and we are still pissing about on both fronts
  9. Expect nothing from the game but I expect a fighting performance and 100% effort from everyone in the saints line up, that's the bare minimum we should see every week P.s BOD get the manager situation sorted so we can get some bloody players in, let's put up a fight rather than except relegation
  10. We knew we'd lose a goal so no real surprise, sounds like we have been a bit unlucky but it's a results driven business and Gary hasn't had the effect I though and hoped for especially after the Dundee game, also like to see managers who are proactive rather than reactive, wylde should probably been on earlier to give them a bit more to worry about, rather than us going a goal down before things are changed
  11. Midfield looks too lightweight to compete with the Inverness midfield, ozzy will be missed
  12. Late night kick off for me over here so think I will try sleep through it so I'm not knackered and depressed going back to work Hope the boys put up a good performance and we can nick a point but our record there is howling
  13. If Kenny was sold for for less than 500k I would be very surprised that the board accepted it. Kenny has been a regular u21 international and played top flight football for a number of years. Christ look at what rangers got for that boy they sold and he's done far less than Kenny in the game
  14. He's better than what we have so worth a punt if we get shot of Marwood, ball or Caldwell to free the wage
  15. No shots on target is very disappointing for the fans who braved the elements, no idea who could come in and turn things around. We should have been buzzing after last week but instead it looks like the boys have downed tools again after one win
  16. Massive step backwards today, especially with all the others around us getting pumped. The managers job needs to be sorted over the weekend so the new boss can get players shipped out and others in before we hit another long losing streak
  17. The boy just doesn't learn, today was a great chance to gain ground and our home form is costing us again. C'mon saints let's get it sorted
  18. Watching the highlights and we looked very good going forward. Mallans goal is just superb, winning the ball and driving forward is what we've lacked for a long time. Looked like a very healthy away support so well done to all who went
  19. Superb result, disappointed not to get the clean sheet but don't want to sound greedy. Well done to all the boys and delighted for the fans who travelled up. Give Gary the job for the rest of the season, the guys obviously want to give everything for him
  20. Can't see us winning but I'd be more than happy to get a point and off the bottom of the table, hope to god we have a striker in on the 1st of January just to give us some hope as it's clear what we have can't cut it, fingers crossed we turn up today and surprise a few folk, including me
  21. The boys seem to be giving there all for Gary so if he gets the gig I won't complain too much. Ideally though we would get someone who knows how to get teams out the sticky stuff
  22. Brining wylde on would help us play on the counter. Would bite your hand off for a draw at the moment, especially if county lose
  23. The time spent on the bike had paid off, we should get marwood and ball a tandem
