  1. This is something that I suggested a few weeks ago! I haven't signed up for the CIC, like the majority of St Mirren fans and those with businesses who are not convinced either. But if there was an alternative, without REA and co, then I would be in, SMISA might come back in and the local businesses too! Just a thought!
  2. Lets meet tomorrow slaters menswear get our clobber iam getting the rea one no pockets so i can play with my self just like the man? himself
  3. The dick, sorry CIC may be the way forward but not with this CIC, I meant dick!
  4. so selling your shares to 1877 isnt
  5. With two millionaires, possibly three, on the new board, then I would not see a problem getting this put to bed before Thursday!
  6. Out of interest, why would a professional, such as a lawyer with nothing to gain financially, be so involved in this and why would a Motherwell fan be constantly commenting on this thread? As I said, out of interest.
  7. Very different levels of organisations. However, Chris appears to be the legal know how in 10000 Hours. REA is the daddy of the committee, Chris is more like the mammy. So 'Chris the mammy' is in charge then!
  8. 'The secretary has all the real power on a committee.' Our current secretary, who is not a St Mirren fan and was brought on by REA, has all the power then!
  9. Ok, I got a bit over excited, £13 a share, it was an example!! Just means we would pay the debt of quicker! I thought they were looking for £20 a share and no, I'm not a major shareholder, unfortunately! If it was £10 a share, you would get double your money, just an example!
  10. Unsecured, really? But there's still a £1 million to go!
  11. You're right it is a bit late but I have voiced my concerns from the beginning at shareholders meetings and to board members. I have never sat on the fence and many know who I am. I have also had difficulty accessing the forum until a few days ago!
  12. They are not gifting the money, they're charging you 8%, go to Tesco bank and get it cheaper. But with getting a share in the club surely more people would take up the option, you then have something to show for your financial outlay. And it is alright for me not to support it, as it is obvious that many other fans feel the same as me! If you like dictatorships, go for it!
  13. Avid fan, but have a full-time job, and if you read my comment it was a 'thought'!! When this farce falls on its a**e, this could be an option!
  14. The important board members know my thoughts, be sure of that!
  15. With GLS as future chairman, we dont need REA and Chris the Rangers fan on the board . Instead of paying monthy subs for no return, pay £20 per month and get one share in the club per month. this way the 48% share holders would come on board. Many fans who have been put off by the CIC, thinking that they will be paying for REA & co & co & co and everyone else that he invites to the board room at every home game, would come on board and then I'm quite sure SMISA would be up for this proposal too. Just a thought!
  16. As we have a club secretary who is a Rangers fan, what else would you expect?
  17. All the true sayings are coming to fruition, 'don't cast your cloot til mae is oot', 'show me your friends and I'll tell you what you are' and lastly 'beware, beware, beware of geeks bearing gifts'!!!!
