The Sandman Posted February 20, 2006 Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 (edited) 1: Pogues: Turkish Song of the Damned, What a fúcking brilliant tune............... 2: Spear of Destiny: The Wheel, a top tune which reminds me of 2nd wave Paisley Punk chics slinking about on the dancefloor at Paris on a Sunday night............... 3:Steve Earle & the Pogues: Johnny come Lately.................. 4: Morrissey: The First of the Gang..................rattled at us in multipule verisions but each one up there with his past highs.............. 5: Manic Street Preachers: Wrote for Luck, never scared to to cover their heroes/peers on their B-sides, The Clash, Camper Von Beethoven etc, this is the first Monday's cover I've heard, one of my top tunes ever but this is A1........................
