beyond our ken
I realise I could be asking for trouble here But can anyone recommend a private hire company in Paisley that will provide a larger vehicle for luggage AND provide a child seat? hackney cabs appear to be exempt and none of them can be arsed to provide the child seat. Prepared for both sensible and nonsensical responses.
davidg
Anybody recommend a private hire taxi company that you don't require a shower and washing of clothes after a short taxi trip? I'd say at least 90% of Renfrewshire Cabs fall under this category. The decent drivers who keep their cabs clean are just as sick of the manky bastards as the customers. Sorry to go off topic, just felt like a rant Back to your question, it's a good point about the kids seats. It would be a good idea for cab drivers to keep a booster seat in the boot. These are not expensive and easy to store in the boot. Large seats for smaller kids would be more difficult to store and expensive though. Stuart Dickson
There is a change in the law coming about backless booster seats. You used to be able to use them for 3 year olds and upwards, but the law change means a child has to weigh at least 22kg and be a minimum of 125cm tall. http://www.which.co.uk/news/2016/04/new-booster-seats-ban-439787/
