chingford
I bought a really worn-out (because I'd played it so often!) 45 record, when it was being chucked out of a jukebox, of Alex Harvey on Polydor singing/screaming, "Let the Good times Roll". Noo, THAT was Rock and Roll! In those days the most remarkable scream known was the comparatively mild, Paul McCartney (?) on Twist and Shout. Alex Harvey swamped that. Wild. Reidy1987
What about Pink Floyd on "Careful with that axe, Eugene"? Or The Beatles on "Revolution"... Or Deep Purple on "Sweet child in time"...
Liverpool Bud
Adam and the Ants always used to include some quality high pitched screaming on their records

ST SID
The best screams are made by maddies about 4am. My fave was a crazy-mental f'k''r in PortPatrick and his particular song of choice was "I Want to Know What Love Love Is"......every f@k@r in the village was aware of the big chap's doubts regarding said fiancees libidity. In spite of the big chap's pleas not one dirty f'k'r owned up, however he was genuinely a big c"nt. Shame about the honeymoon.
