I don’t think it’s overly alarmist to consider that Saints may not pick up any points before the league splits. The writing has been on the wall for some time, mainly due to the very poor quality of our forwards. The recent additions are , if anything, even worse than those before them. For that, the manager is culpable, however he has done well up to now so deserves a bit of indulgence. As for the next game, our cup record against Thistle is historically bad and I think a lot of fans will give it a miss due to the awful timing and live tv coverage. It’s a three way contest now for the drop and we find ourselves hoping for defeats for Killie and Livi unfortunately. It’s in the lap of the gods.

Of course not now.... anyone in football tells us it's a result biz... SR keeps us up we move on and learn lessons...we never replaced CBM .. we relied on Mandron and get shot of back up... recruitment terrible and rely far to much on Gogic...  as pundits said win a cup stay in league is our best scenario.... I really want SR to succeed as he has done but certainly not in 2026
