I was watching between doing other things but I thought the same, we seemed to dominate almost throughout the whole game.  Martindale is roundly getting slaughtered for his view on the match. Surprising as he's usually brutally honest.

It would have been a travesty if we had not won yesterday. I really don't know what game Martindale was watching when he said it was a 0-0 game and they were only opened up on one occasion.  As one sided a contest as you're likely to see. As for VAR?
