I don't agree that Bowie was overrated. His longevity would suggest otherwise. While not at the races vocally with the likes of Mercury he held his own when they sang Under pressure. He was the ultimate musical chameleon and I have yet to meet anyone who didn't like at least one thing he did.
Getting back to live aid.
I recorded a lot of it on VHS back then and still have some on tape, (I still have a VHS recorder purely for that reason), but it was great to relive the moments. I found my self thinking, "I don't remember this", or, "I thought such and such had shorter sets". All in all, so far, I have enjoyed most.
