  1. Just don't know what those rights are , Bluto. Norwegians don't have them and they get to live in the richest country on the planet. .
  2. I'd be more than happy to lose my EU "rights". My forebears fought to stop this country being taken over by the Third Reich , only for an insidious thing which is actually , the Fourth Reich , to take away our citizenship as British/Scottish to be replaced by European . We are supposed to live in one big superstate called Europa, one big happy family . . nice
  3. If they did , l could live with that situation. .
  4. Thanks. . http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25035427
  5. Sorry Buddie , but I don't understand what rUK is and l can't seem to get it defined elsewhere. .
  6. Yes ,l believe that Scotland should be a an independent , sovereign state . Like the Norwegian model and not a Vassal sate. . We had to gain Devolution before we could get independence , properly on the table , so , independence in Europe could be a stepping stone to full independence. .
  7. One of the items that kept coming up , was that Scots don't like the English. A generality. This aspect was being continually driven by Madely , whom simply couldn't understand this . Then Acona , throws in the fact that , it is to do with the Highland Clearances . .FFS At least ,Madely reassured us that he liked the Scots and loved coming to "another part of his country" . .
  8. . .so , there you have it A Partly Political Broadcast on behalf of the Better Together Campaign. . Richard Maidley FFS. .
  9. That sounds like a great opportunity to just , er , no bother , er joining , the European Union , after all , if we get independence , then why would we leave one Union only to jump into another one. . If l remember correctly , it was mostly Englandshire that voted for the EEC back in the 7ts(remember , none of them voted for the EU). Given a vote on the EU today , how many would say yes. .
  10. I think that is likely to be the case for a while , as people are wanting to be convinced on the issue before they vote but without a crystal ball , they are unlikely to get the sort of data that will 100% do that for them. In the end , people are going to have to have a bit of faith in the future of their country and faith in their leaders and that , will be the difficult bit. . Last nite it transpired that some undecided people think that they will be handed Devo-Max if they vote no , but l don't see how that would necessarily be the case , at all. .
  11. TBF some economics woman on STV said that it was more of a manifesto than a white paper. Some American expert reckoned that the debate could become heated and nasty in coming months. I wonder if he has been looking in here. .
  12. TBF that could be said about a few labour safe seats and l believe that in some cases , they did get a monkey successfully elected. .
  13. I enjoyed the game for 3 good reasons . . However , it was marred by that c**t lan Crocker . He talks a load of utter tosh . I think he is a fan of the vermin , too. .
