  1. You're wrong Tony, in a democratic system they would have the same chance of any other party of winning a Scottish election. All they would need to do is come up with sensible and fair poiicies that enough voters think would be best for Scotland as a whole and they would be in. That fortunately is and will always be their problem. Thankfully.
  2. Why would you want to celebrate St Andrew's day on the 28th anyway? I suppose Cameron wants to celebrate it so much that he doesn't want it interfering with his weekend.
  3. Yesterday was the first look at him and got to say i was impressed.
  4. I'd like to see the footage also, just to see if Celtic's winning goal was as far offside as i remember.
  5. Bit of trivia nonsense. Stewart Imlach who played for Forest was a Scot whose son is Gary Imlach who presented Tour de France & NFL on channel 4 a few years back.
  6. I for one am really looking forward to the game as it's on live here. Sadly can't get the afternoon off work but Fox Soccer Plus has already been set to record.
  7. Well done Morton. The ones without soap must think they've died and gone to heaven. Winning the Renfrewshire cup and knocking the green slime out of the league cup in the space of a couple of months. Good luck for the rest of the tournament.
  8. there goes the suspense for those who didn't know the outcome
  9. It was a good Bolton team as we found out in the 2nd leg.
  10. At a reserve game a few years ago an old guy in the main stand in front of us shouts "Hey Jarvie, hang up your boots - and make sure your f****** feet are stil in them"
  11. Life never seems fair when someone is taken so young. RIP Bud.
  12. Anybody remember why the game kicked off at 2 o'clock?
  13. My golfing hero when i was a kid, really hope he pulls through.
  14. Not great memories tbh Next time Saints are up in Forfar can someone check to see if my scarf is still in the away dug-out or if Miller took it with him after removing it from his face. Don't remember much of the the Cowdenbeath game but i'll never forget the police cordon with the hungry looking Alsatians. Hamilton was just too bizarre 3-0 up in the first away leg and still managed to lose on penalties at home. Rangers in the semi-final first leg at Ibrox also springs to mind 2-0 up and cruising, somehow managed to lose 3-2 and just couldn't score at Love Street against 14 men in the second leg.
  15. It was pathetic that he only let Blues score to equalise after Yeovil went ahead (as an ex Blues season ticket holder i have no bias whatsoever in this). He only did it to avoid any post match bad publicity. My wife was listening to the online radio commentary and said that most of the Yeovil players wanted to let them score straight away but Johnson told them not to.
  16. with Saints results and crowds rather than Ayr's http://www.londonhearts.com/scores/a1970/stmirren1978.htm
  17. suggests the crowd as 9,347 http://www.londonhearts.com/scores/a1970/ayrunited1978.htm

  19. I see in the Evening Times fixtures that we played Neilston the next day - looking forward to finding out the result tomorrow
