  1. You tell them Another o' Sidley's gay workwear sites nae doubt. Woh mentioning that some pop ups are generated by spyware. Get Webroot spysweeper for free from here. Or as Bob says- get mozilla firefox..
  2. Yep- does that wie me. Dont't use the instal feature. Put CD in drive but don't do instal. Go to my computer-right click for properties, hardwear, device manager, network adapters, right click on your modem, and update driver. Should work fine. NTL tech support are excellent.

  4. Hmm- using a google on wee gay plumber revealed this Sidley- wan o' yours?
  5. Kazaa lite is pain in the ass. The baby McBs have it on their machines- watch out for spyware. Install webroot spysweeper- does the biz. Also many contemporary tracks are f@cked versions spread by record companies. Older stuff like Dylan, springsteen etc is OK.
  6. Looks like fun- p'haps baby McB will accompany his decrepit auld Da for it.
  7. Aye Up Arrochar this sunday- probs Beinn Ime-
  8. And he missed wa**ing in memphis- not the Cher version. BTW NSS still working oot the mechanics o' the duel- currently thinking on fastest time up Ben Nevis What aboot it?
  9. Surely the God bothering and right wing make him an ideal candidate for a portrayal of Wallace- or are we taking a revisionist view of history?
  10. Philis? Was she gertrude's sister?
  11. HMM. I feel I can do no better than a cut and paste here- From a good review here on scottishness. "In the 1960s, the Scottish historian Tom Nairn had put things more bluntly. The big question about Scottish independence, he said, was not whether the place would be viable, but whether it would be bearable. It would only be the latter, he said, adjusting the words of Diderot, when "the last Kirk minister has been strangled with the last copy of the Sunday Post"." I always thought that some ministers should be spared but that the sunday posts should be used to fuel the bonfire which is used to immolate Sidney devine and Jimmy Shand's entire output. Along with the back catalogue of the White heather club.
  12. Ah- pointers as it was known- later to become British charcoal and MacDonalds. Basically they roasted bones to make animal charcoal which was used in the refining of sugar. When the weather conditions were right the smell would drift down towards the river area. The smell indeed is one of the worst. Once a year in scholl the biologists lay off torturing bunnies and roast animal bones to analyse for minerals- bloody awful smell - same as above.
  13. As I said- not doubting your word at all. The fact that neither Donga nor I heard it seems to indicate that those engaging in the stupidity were a minority. A stupid unrepresentative minority
  14. Not saying that you're wrong Reidy but I too was in the cowshed that day with two of the McB bambini and can honestly say that I didn't hear it. Heaps of-Junior, Junior get tae F'ck- but no racist sh1t. A pox on any b@sturt who lets the side down wie that cr@p.
  15. Must say that I have never heard monkey noises from our fans. When the wee man was at scapa last season he got the usual- " Mendez, Mendez get tae f'ck", but no racist shit. Did the monkey noise shit happen at love street? As for the lack of Yards in Donga's list, simple really we don't hate him, jist the fact that the fat bassa always seems to score against us, even when he's playing for Albion Rovers.
  16. Indeed- Felt that that was the first Signs o' the big chaps's mind going down the toilet Thought that the worst was - roughly the same time -Pat O'brien and Cagney on the show- O'Brien carried the wee man whose mind was away
  17. One of the few joys of being d'un certain age is watching that fight live- think that dad McB (god rest his soul) woke me up to see it on the beeb during the middle of the night.
  18. Nope - news to me- Cassius Marcellus Clay III of course Suppose I went for Raging bull because of the attempt to depict boxing- When did the event occur? And does anyone else remember the BBC series ( early 70's ?) by Harry Carpenter on the Heavyweight champions from the start to that time- quality television.
  19. Can't believe that no one else has picked Raging bull- best goddam boxing fim ever. Ching you should know better
  20. 1.Raging Bull 2.This sporting life 3.Chariots of Fire 4. Field of Dreams 5. Rollerball - original ( stretching it a bit I know) Honorable mention to WSC Like sport itself the best sporting films deal with much more than the game. (sounds pretentious- ) Best laugh- Escape to victory
  21. Decent wide screen format- high quality sound- not overly expensive- ability to get region 1 DVD from cheap American suppliers. And- try playing your videos 10 years from now when the thermal noise wil make them total cack. And easy to copy for your mates nia a 90 quid PC burner with discs at less than a quid, and DVD recorders now becoming an easy route to get excellent recordings from satellite- cable.
  22. Aye that would p1ss me off too- now swerving to hit the bassas
  23. Too old even for Bill Lees- we'll be bringing up Barbara Windsor and Joan Collins next.
