  1. We are where we need to be in terms of personnel for the league, finish in the European places and the addition of 3 or 4 players would allow us to complete on 2 fronts, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves and enjoy the current success while it lasts and appreciate what we have.
  2. So that's 3 chalked off today then? How many Jambos in the VAR box today?
  3. MrsS took one look, saw Billy Monger was on it and declared that we wouldn't be watching it!
  4. If you are under the misapprehension that I'm in some way defending the BBC or the views of the minister quoted then you are mistaken, all I said was the original article that appeared yesterday on the BBC website was balanced nothing more nothing less.
  5. That's from today, yesterday's was a report on what was known at the time this is a report on Gov't opinion, not the same.
  6. Yep, I was at this one too, Hearts always moan about the last game of the season but this one gave their goal difference a bit of a hammering too!
  7. Yesterday's article on the BBC website was interesting and balanced, will be interesting to see how it plays out.
  8. I really liked Ross Stewart and I think I said at the time it was a mistake to let him go but it is clear he wouldn't have stayed with us for long anyway.
  9. Knowing when to quit is the real trick as you say, if only the writers of Coronation Street and Eastenders had the balls to recognise they are just regurgitating the same nonsense decade after decade.
  10. Well they would do on that pitch!
  11. Never found it remotely humourous, same with Two doors down and Only fools and horses, seemingly lots of people do each to their own.
  12. Making them look good here, disappointing.
  13. Was that meant to be in the Saints matchday thread?
  14. So, has Ally realised he's supposed to be rooting for us in this, he seems to be wearing his rose tinted glasses tonight.
  15. A win, any win, would make my return to work most enjoyable 😉
  16. I would certainly hope so, however the obvious method of doing so would be to have a break clause for either party, which, unless anyone knows otherwise there doesn't appear to be. That's it from me on this one going out for last meal of my hols shortly.
  17. 20/20 hindsight, the club should have protected itself if and I stress If it had all gone horribly wrong.
  18. I think you are extrapolating your point beyond reasonableness here, we all know the old board wanted to sell and fan buyout was important to both sides, what is strange is the lack of an extraction route for either side in the Kibble arrangement, as it stands however well or badly it goes both sides are stuck with each other, and no I don't buy 'that shows commitment to the concept' bollocks, it shows a lack of common sense on the club's part. If we wished to part with Kibble it would be at a price they wanted so it doesn't matter that it isn't written in, it is a consequence of a badly drawn agreement.
  19. Joint projects & the running of the club allow for opportunities for people in their care. Ultimately a strong St Mirren is good for the Kibble. Yes I read the blurb too, but I'm 100% certain that a financial return is an end goal, there is nothing in the above that couldn't have been achieved in a partnership that didn't require partial ownership.
  20. I agree but what sort of return might that be, shares don't pay a dividend as far as I know, so if a return is required will it be more for their shares than they paid for them, in which case they are taking a risk.
  21. Team won't be made up entirely of Queen's Park players this time round.
