Therein lies one of the big problems, in a best case scenario Europe would have the virus controlled by summer so you could justify travel within the EU & possibly Russia ☭ but what about Africa, the Caribbean or Turkey although apparently they have just started their own vaccination program (using the Chinese variation). so who knows? Travel corridors didn't work last summer so the only sensible option is to cancel all foreign travel for a minimum of 5 years and the Tokyo Olympics, World Cup, and all international sport apart from cricket 🏏 (cos it's good - despite England doing well today) and cycling 🚴 (cos they're all on drugs and used to fellow competitor's going AWOL on a semi-regular basis).

To put this in perspective it happened while Covid cases in the UK were running at about 1000 per day and their were virtually no deaths in Scotland. Now let's fast forward a few months and we have a player testing positive coming back with the squad from a foreign destination where the virus is running rife where UK cases are running at 50-60k per day and 183 deaths being recorded in Scotland in the last weekly figures available and yet even with the club admitting to "minor breaches" of the rules there is no need for their squad to self isolate. It seems the government are afraid to make a decision which might put the rest of the season in jeopardy.

As I've already said I'm not going to defend every statement by every person who claims to be affiliated to the BLM movement.
