  1. Amazing. Great memory - your Dad was a terrific player for us. Thanks for sharing !
  2. And no longer lowest scorers in the league either, with games in hand. What a few days it’s been. Next game can’t come soon enough, and I think the players will also be well up for the visit of Hibs. Bring it on. COYS !!
  3. Do not disagree, however, the last two matches do fill me with more confidence than I would normally have in the run up to a home game with Hibs. And there’s no doubt the players confidence will be great right now. Be interesting to see if Hibs still have Porteous and Nesbitt for this match. COYS !!
  4. What a performance. What a result. Will live long in the memory. Haven’t felt this good after a result since, well, Wednesday !
  5. Seems JG has taken most of us for fools. The man is obviously a tactical genius!
  6. When you click on our fixture on BBC the page has the table as at 31st October, after 13 games. We are in 11th place, level with Accies on 7 points. 9 behind United 7 behind Killie and Well 5 behind County Not a bad turnaround since then. Fingers crossed for today. Hope we have a real go at them. Absolutely nothing to lose. COYS !!
  7. Never for one moment did I think I’d be feeling this good after Sunday’s performance left me feeling so flat, totally deflated. Still enjoying the high from a terrific team performance last night. And five goals. FIVE. Away from home ! Everyone played a part.
  8. Agree. Mixes it up a bit too, keeps the defence on their toes rather than being too predictable. Keep them guessing.
  9. He’s mentioned Dylan before, seems the plan is to get him some game time before the end of this season and have him in the first team squad next season. I’m all for that.
  10. I wouldn’t disagree with this. I don’t think JG will be brave enough to go 4-4-2 again, but I can see him going 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 with Connolly and Durmus in midfield with McGrath behind the striker. Not sure if we’ll start with the strength of Obika or speed and guile of Brophy. Whatever formation and personnel we put out there are certainly some great options to come off the bench, if required. No reason we can’t earn some points from this match.
  11. It’ll be a distinct possibility if we were beat them this weekend.
  12. I certainly wouldn’t be starting him, but as someone highlighted previously (on another thread?) our bench looked pretty light last night, after we made the three changes.
  13. While it looks like Foley is away, after his performance last night, I’d like to think Flynn is still in the manager’s plans for next season. A calm level head for the younger guys to learn from on the pitch, and tI’m sure he’s a good guy to have in the dressing room too.
  14. Is Cammy back available for this match ? Anyone else back ?
  15. Brophy came off much earlier than I’d expected, but he had worked his socks off while he was on the pitch. I wouldn’t have been surprised if he was subbed because he was knackered as much as a tactical change. Not sure if he’ll start this weekend, but he will score goals for us.
  16. Yep, need to tighten the midfield against Celtic on Saturday. I reckon JG will have us back to a 4-5-1 formation and as long as Connolly is one of the 5 I’ll be ok with that. Their defence will really struggle against his pace.
  17. I’m high as a kite and I’m not even watching it - so will be Alba at 10pm for me, along with a couple of celebratory beers ! COYS !!
  18. I’m sure you’re not the only one thinking that, especially as United just pulled one back ...
  19. Hope he’s back fit in time for the run in, could be just at the right time to give the squad a real boost.
