Reckon Goodie knows the kind of money Hibs will offer Paul McGinn and realises we can't compete . Hopefully he also knows of a good right back looking for a team .

At half time I thought if we brought Paul McGinn on for Andreu , played him at full back , then move Flynn to right midfield and play Morias just off Obika we would have been far more effective . Which for me suggests we need a quality right back as Flynn is more important in midfield .

Exactly as I see it too . Lots of potential to get in some decent players.

How,s this for a team Hladky McGinn McKenzie Famewo Waters Djorkoff Flynn Andrieu McGinn Cooke Mullen All going at the end of the season , which gives us a decent budget to get a few good players in . Perhaps two or three by the end of the week if McGinn moves on

If McGinn goes I,d like to see us bring three in . Right back creative midfielder and attacker .

Mates a Hibs fan , that's the rumour they are hearing . Hibs need a right back to replace Naismith . Might also explain why he wasn't playing from the start today and why Goodie put him on in the last minute to say his goodbyes

A big plus was the two young lads in central defence playing reasonably well together .

I was at that game , we beat Rangers three times that season.

The point I am making is that going back to a good job and playing part time football will be a good option for Cody Cooke . Let's see what happens . Not going to bother getting into a slagging match .

His old job at a further education college , which he had before he came to Saints ( these type of jobs often have an opportunity for a career break ) , and I'm hoping the experience in Scotland has enabled him to play a higher standard than he had previous , hence Yeovil and not Truro .

Cody Cooke has a good attitude, and is a similar use to the team as Danny Mullen . I,ve got a feeling that whilst he would love to stay at St Mirren , he will probably end up back at his old job and playing part time at Yeovil .

Mullen was of a similar standard as Cammy Smith , good hard working Championship player . I wish him well . I suspect a few teams have already shown interest and he will go in the next week .

Last time they beat us it was a big player bullying Waters at left back that caused the problems . Get that sorted and it will be a different game .

And I think Hibs have a midweek cup replay before they meet us . Hope Dundee United kick everything above grass .

Three games in eight days , probably means a wee bit of squad rotation . Probaby need our best attacking eleven for the Aberdeen game .

If Stephen McGinn is fit , the best and fairest option is to allow him to leave and negotiate a contract with another club that best suits where he wants to be in two years time . He has done well for St Mirren , and I wish him well .
