To be fair the SPFL must be seen to be consistent and punish clubs without fear or favour, just as they are soon to announce that all the games played by Rangers before it died will now be deemed 3-0 defeats for every game in which Rangers cheated and fielded players who were being paid undisclosed wages. Shame about all those fake titles and cheating cups that will have to be asterisked in the record books... but fitba is a sport that, like all other sports, can't be allowed to let cheats win.
