  1. Actually the first Official UK king was Scottish but like 1314 I take your point 1603 is fairly irrelevant too. The point I'm trying to make here is that IMO the scots have two choices. Vote SNP for independence or Vote Tory for a United UK ready to take on Brexit. There is no middle Ground and anything else is a wasted vote. Ruth The Untruth may well raise her profile
  2. This referendum will either make or Break the SNP. It's not about the NHS, bigotry laws at Football matches or scottish tax powers. The Scottish people really do have a chance to go it alone now. No England, no Europe just us against the world. Do we want England by our side or Do we send them homeward with Remember Bannock burn ringing in their ears. This time Wee Nicky can consider every vote cast for her as a vote for independence. Do we want independence?
  3. Everyone is very sensitive now and I don't think your allowed to be cynical either. If I had said we'd all be working for Romanian entrepreneurs would that have been more acceptable. Maybe I'm just being too cynical. They haven't lost any votes but they are making concessions which Europe will exploit. We need to unite to get the best deal possible but unfortunately Politicians are in charge. IMO the question is not which ones do we trust but which ones are devious enough to look after our interests Who do you suggest.
  4. Shabby Trolling? Not too Shabby I'd say. My point is not made in support of the Tories. IMO The haves and the Have not's are not the Key Battle here. The Real battle is the component parts of the UK V Europe. The Haves and have nots may need to unite to ensure their is something left for anyone to have. Scottish independence supporters and the rest of the UK may also have to call a truce until Brexit is sorted. I'm open to persuasion but Tory politicians are crooked and self interested is not a convincing argument for throwing the baby out with the bath water. Some one has to oversee Brexit Who the Feck do we think can do it best. Simple Question. Well not really.
  5. Wasn't aware of this but if if 30 Tories lost their seats and some lib/lab/snp co-coalition suddenly found themselves in power and responsible for Brexit negotiations I think we'd be fecked. We could just give Donald Tusk the Keys to our front door and the combination codes for the bank of England. Poland could ship in all their electricians and the Romanians can employ us all selling clothes pegs at stalls on every street corner whilst Abu Hamza takes over the UK National Security role. Britain was built on the back of crooked figures with self interest at the heart of everything they did but they knew they needed a strong Britain to protect their interests. If ever there was a time for true British spirit...... Are the opposition Crooked enough to see us alright.
  6. And before anyone else says it Gus couldn't do it either
  7. Sadly though if the Tories get a Bloody nose it weakens the UK position re Brexit negotiations. It would no doubt also lead to another independence referendum. The French and German Elections also cast doubt on Europe's future never mind ours. If Europe falls apart we could be better off out of it. If the UK also falls apart does that leave us in the Billy "no mates" category. Feck it not even Jack Ross could get us out of this mess
  8. Drums have been banned at Tannadice. "Now it's just the home team that will take a pounding for 90 minutes" says a club spokesman. article posted in Drums thread too http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/beat-it-dundee-united-ban-6932531
  9. No drums allowed at Tannadice http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/beat-it-dundee-united-ban-6932531 The article also says Drums have been banned at Tannadice. "Now it's just the home team that will take a pounding for 90 minutes" says a club spokesman. Let's hope that's true this weekend
  10. Let's face it folks this is all about Brexit. We are told we can't stay in the single market and keep control of our borders. Brexiteers want a hard Brexit and remainers want to sabotage Brexit and Prevent the Tories delivering what were the two main brexit drivers. Stopping Brussels interference and keeping foreigners out. May has called the election to give her more clout in the Brexit negotiations. Assuming Brexit can't be reversed why should we give hope to any party who wants to assist Europe in giving us a shitty deal. If its really about National interest it leaves us all between a rock and a hard place. De-railing the tories will just give Europe more control over our future will it not? enlighten me!
  11. Corbyn came on the scene claiming to be a man of principle and justice. All pro the people and anti war. A man who would challenge the wrongs of the warmonger and stand up for the weak. I wasn't that keen on some of his ideas but I thought he was at least a man of principle until he had a chance to prove himself and bottled it to save himself. All his anti war rhetoric proved meaningless when he allowed a free vote on bombing Syria to pacify his rebels. It turned out the man was a cowardly buffoon. Can't trust Politicians
  12. Help me out folks it's all very confusing but my understanding is SNP said Scotland being independent in a British Isles that was part of Europe seemed like a good idea. Most of Scotland however said no and that seemed to be that but it wasn’t. Everyone continued to moan about the silly trade rules Europe imposed and blamed immigration and free movement for all Britain’s Problems. The moans were so loud we got Brexit. Because most of Scotland wanted to be part of Europe Wee Nicky Sturgeon then announces she has a mandate for independence which Scotland had already rejected. Everyone one then complains they didn’t mind Europe dictating how bent our bananas should be and they wanted back into the single market. Suddenly the immigrants who had been portrayed as wandering across our unprotected borders, stealing our Jobs and claiming our benefits were no longer a problem. The Lib Dems start sabotaging Brexit using their unelected majority in the house of Lords demanding rights for immigrants from the EU whilst ignoring the plight of Ex-pats in the EU. Teresa May said she would get out of the Silly Trade deals and sort out the immigrants that the majority had complained about The SNP and Labour claimed they would vote down any agreed Brexit Deal. The liberal Democrats who had next to no MP’s threatened to mobilise all their unelected Lords to help them. Wee Nicky accuses Teresa of not being elected. Teresa says Feck You. Bring it on. Is that a fair representation of the situation so far? Power to the people
  13. We should be fine unless CHRISTOPHER AYE / COO, HEAD OF MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS is seen in the hospitality suite. but then again he might just be watching the football and having a beer
  14. Very good point Bud. If he does what Kommandant Von Luger couldn't do and foils our great escape that will be a bad day and I would lose respect for the man if he tried to tunnel his way out of the 2021 in our hour of need. I'm sure he will stay.
  15. Get your money into beer and whisky stocks and shares. They only ever gain value. Nae cnut stops drinking, even in recession. Then again maybe you should just get drunk if Trump and and Yong are about to unleash their big weapons. Don't push the button....Unless you want to unleash your weapon on a sugarbabe.
  16. Results out all proposals passed with sizeable majorities. A total of 845 people voted and results were as follows: Project one – community season tickets – 673 (80%) voted yes and 172 (20%) voted no. Project two – hall of fame boards – 589 (70%) voted yes and 256 (30%) voted no. Project three – youth team sponsorship – 610 (72%) voted yes and 235 (28%) voted no.
  17. Well if it was McKenzie which on reflection it probably was. I should have shut the feck up. , Muting up
  18. Mute point. Probably well Made. Key fact is O'Brien had no chance. Baird, McKenzie whatever!!!
  19. Billy O’Brien First off I think O’Brien is worth keeping if we can. That said I can be quite nervous watching him. He seems to think he can dribble and kick a ball. A lot of the time he can but some of his kicks do go astray. Take yesterday for example. I think Irvine stole the ball from a Falkirk winger but couldn’t get forward and did some fancy footwork to escape his assailant and pass back to O’Brien who just hoofed the ball out the park at the point where Irvine had won it. Irvine could have done the same and must have though what was the Fecking point of that. I did. Also he can be slow to throw the ball out but other times he just throws it to the opposition. Raith Rovers what a howler! Sometimes his floundering about merits the Billy the fish tag. He’s inexperienced but I think he still merits a run in the first team. He has made some great saves and experience will bring confidence which will bring a commanding presence and improved performance. I vote to keep him if we can. Stick with the Fish
  20. Incident happened right in front of me. IMO Baird was at fault. The bud next to me reckons the ball did go over the bye line before it was crossed but I'm not so sure. Falkirk player worked hard for it. Baird was too slack and O'Brien didn't have much chance. It was a well taken goal. Clear yir lines
  21. 3rd section from the right. 15 rows up 6 seats from the right. I'm the cnut that's just spilled his bovril. lid came off, Fecking roastin. burnt ma wrist.
  22. A tale from Falkirk The first thing I noticed when I stepped off the train was the buses. One after the other blue and white buses streamed passed as I tried to cross the road which separated me from Behind The Wall, the pub where the bus left for Falkirk stadium. I eventually walked to the underpass to reach the other side and the deviation enticed me into another couple of hostelries before I reached BTW. No tickets left for the bus. Feck it, another few Buds were in the same position and we commandeered a couple of taxi’s to the Stadium. Magennis made some sublime runs down the wing. McGinn scored a belter and totally connected with the saints’ fans in his after-match celebration. The free kick that led to their second equaliser IMO was never a foul and we left with a point. The bus stops outside the ground were crowded but there wasn’t a bus in sight. I decided to walk. Half way back an old wrinkled man in a flat cap was standing at a bus stop. “Son” He beckoned me and started asking me about the Number 42. Feck I haven’t been called “Son” in a while and I had no idea about the Falkirk bus routes, I didn’t want to leave an old guy in the lurch so I looked about for a time table with details of the number 42 and tried to explain I knew feck all about the buses when he grabbed my scarf with his long bony fingers and said “Your team was playing at Falkirk and the number 42 was running down the wing. What’s the young boys name? He impressed me.” I told him and he went on about how he had been going to Falkirk for over 65 years and he had seen many a player but that our boy was a prospect. “Magennis, I’ll keep an eye on his progress” he muttered as he let go of my scarf and disappeared back into the shelter. I had time for a quick pint in Sportsters before getting the train. I wonder who else is keeping an eye on his progress because it’s becoming apparent to everyone and not just us that the boy is indeed a prospect. Well done Kyle. Good Game. COYS
  23. Watching it in sporsters in Falkirk referee down looks like simulation. Player never touched him @
  24. A captive audience then. I blame free WiFi . Still drivling
