I am not trying to cause you embarrassment, but the possessive apostrophe seems to have been missed. You're certainly not the only one, btw. Opppps they must have slipped under the keyboard

An honours degree, wow got one of those too. Anything else you want to add ? I got mine when it was hard to get to Uni too !! Its just hysterical the way people react to Shull and he just keeps looping them in. or be a c**t and be treated like one

This forum for me is a bit of fun. I really don't take anything on it seriously and its hysterical when some muppet pulls me up for spelling. I usually write a few sentences as quickly as I can, don't check spelling and then go and do something meaningful with my day. Also got an A in English for my O grade and Higher English so must have been doing something right all those years ago. Wonder what you got ? Actually an honours degree, and yes I also don't take everything to heart, but when people post absolute garbage as Shull does from time to time then I feel entitled to challenge it, equally I have on occasions supported some of his posts and if other posters choose to berete me and use Shull as a stick then I will retort and be sarcastic and picky as I feel entitled to do so. I really don't give toss about other peoples opinions of my views; I don't need their validation and I respond in accordance with what has been posted. Play nice and I will also.

Shull is a lot more interesting than you. I'm more interested in a post he would put up than you because he is prepared to have a go an not just toe the populist line. Its always interesting going against the grain as you learn more. I think its a bit of a stretch putting yourself in the adult camp The only time Shull would be more interesting than anyone is assuming every other fecker is dead You are more interested in Shulls posts simply because you have the mental capacity of a five year old (who has been kept back a year). And if you seriously think Shulls posts are simply aimed at not just toeing the populist line, then I really must apologise to that five year old (who it seems was unjustly kept back a year). And if you wish to learn more through 'going against the grain' start with an apostrophe between the t and s in It's.............. Just like what I done. Sorry but the proof is here yet again no apostrophe, when I finished school and become an adult I learned to not forget them.........mostly.

You really need to stop looking in the mirrors Shull. and following YOUR advice by the way REALLY would be putting the lunatic in charge of the asylum.
-
Well!! if we are all indulging in fantasies then I wave my magic wand the world is Shull free and by the way embolding text doesn't mean it's more likely to happen..
-
You are behaving like a greeting faced bairn, a few contra - posts outlining your position; fair enough, but your constant carping is almost Shull-esque. I it bother you so much go buy a Hearts season ticket, the adults have made a decision so off to bed and keep it down.

So Farewell then, David Urquhart Travel
jaybee replied to Cookie Monster's topic in General Nonsense
Not quite sure how you think it's an example of a company acting with integrity. A lot of people will lose their jobs as a result of the closure. Now, if they had used the furlough scheme to pay wages, topped up the shortfall in wages and used the company profits to get through this time, that would be more worthy of commendation. It is, of course, possible that the company didn't have the money to do this, was already in financial trouble and this has tipped them over the edge. This could make their actions understandable, but still doesn't merit them being held up as an example of how capitalism can be done with integrity. * * It can't. You are welcome to your opinion .....as indeed I am. -
So Farewell then, David Urquhart Travel

Wow! a company run by people who value their integrity more than money, very very impressed well done David Urquhart Travel Ltd, seriously. I am naturally not at all happy it came to this but so full of admiration for the way it is being handled. Perhaps a little aside is called for here, in that (the owner) of Wetherspoons rightly should be castigated and driven into bankruptcy after the virus is defeated (in my opinion anyway) as a response to the shameful way he treated his staff, conversely, one would hope that a company such as David Urquhart Travel Ltd (should they re launch the business) would be awash with customers supporting 'good people'. -
no they do not

I would imagine the chances of the top echelon of the premier league (and I don't just mean just the BIG two) allowing that; would be much worse than my chances of winning the lottery (and I don't buy lottery tickets). You are right though; in regards to both Colt teams being a nonsense (in the league proper) and in the need for an increase in funds to lower league teams. Wish I had a solution, unfortunatly though my names not Shull.

League 2 should stick to their guns, they are unlikely ever to have the chance again.
-
That should be your epitaph. At least you're self-aware, though. You do understand that YOU can't count self abusing as being self aware?

For much the same reason that if one is explaining to two children about NOT standing on railway lines because............ there is no need to sacrifice one of them by throwing them in front of a train; simply to prove the point to the other, one assumes (at least with children) a certain level of intellect that can theorise cause and effect.

Aye and if me Granny had ba's.............

The only problem being, that in both cases, the S in SFA and SPFL stands for Scottish and not Shull's.

Praised? By who? You? She doesn’t have a fecking clue what’s going on or what to do about it. Not a fan of her and even less of you; but both her anb Boris have done reasonable considering the circumstances and much as I hate to admit it she has probably done better than Boris

U seem to be a bit Shull obsessed...for somebody u think is a nit-wit u seem to be mightily impressed by Shull, bit strange. I am well aware there are alternate Shulls out there and quite often he makes some very pertinent posts and when he does, (as when anyone does) I offer positive observations, likewise when I find a post contentious then I comment appropriately, irrespective of who posts it, I will support or criticise the post rather than the postee. Ergo I am no more Shull obsessed than many others on here and most assuredly less strange than someone who finds difficulty in using the personal pronoun you than the letter U.

Get him telt, Shull! Tedious Tom the Tiresome 'tard! Given the lack of common sense in the vast majority of crap which you post, I'm going to assume the G in GMan stands for gormless and by the way Tedious was complimenting Shull by referring to him as a half-wit, more like nit-wit.

The majority vote was to keep things the same. As in any vote the option that gets the most votes is the winner Checkout the general election - more people voted against the Tories but they won - that is how voting works. There were 4 choices on the ballot and not 2. Those that did not vote for the winning option could not agree a consensus and was split into rival camps hence the winning vote gets the mandate. How would the voting look if one of the other options was now off the table? No-one knows until it is done. Anything else is conjecture. Anyway I do not intend to go round in circles on this. I merely asked you to provide backup to your claim and you cannot. I cited the only poll result I had seen (1009 voters). Case closed. You are wrong Bazil85 is correct (isn't he always?) This is NOT an election so your example sucks, it's about larger league? or not and clearly Bazil85's interpretation is superior to yours, quibbling over semantics. seems silly.

I agree with the majority of what you say particularly the last sentence, as I really enjoyed his era. Although I must say I am actually quite pleased with the decision of the scottish lower league two clubs; to only support the 14,14,14 change, firstly because it really is a farce that they supposedly have a vote but in reality .....it's usually irrelevant and secondly because, much as I would prefer a 16 or 18 team league it just wouldn't work for a myriad of reasons, however I think an increase to 14 MIGHT just improve games for the fans, open up choices and slightly ease the pressure re relegation. Just an opinion of course and I lay no claim to me having any expertise to support such a change , I just feel there is an opportunity to try something fresh.

The EPL has 6 European places and 3 relegation places. 9 positions to fight for, nearly half the league. Also nobody is saying every league doesn't have meaningless games but in our situation if you increase the number of teams you will increase the number of meaningless games. The leagues are fine at the moment. Tinkering about with the format isn't going to bring the crowds back and revolutionise Scottish football. The problems we have lie elsewhere. Might the problem lie with those that think the league set up is fine at the moment?
-
Does it not say a lot that all league 2 clubs are supporting the idea and surely they are the clubs mostly affected.
-
That may well be true but nevertheless one really does have to wonder about a CUNTRY that would vote someone of his Kaliber into a position of power, there might be some Americans with a degree of common sense..................but they are hiding pretty well
