  1. I hope you don't live too faraway from your work. Long commutes can be very boring.
  2. I didn't think we could afford him either! Was there not also talk of him wanting to go back home to Cyprus for family reasons?
  3. That's a good point, Antrin. It's possible that he gets a run of games, reminds Scottish football what he's capable of and earns himself and Arbroath a fair number of pounds.
  4. A healthy player of his ability with no underlying health problems wouldn't be signing for Arbroath. I have no disrespect intended towards Arbroath or Scott Allan when I say that. I wish him all the best and hope he can get back to playing well.
  5. As you say "each to their own". I take the attitude that everything in life is subjective, which is why I don't say another person's taste in art, books, films, music, television and potential partners is rubbish or slag them off for their personal tastes. I don't like rap music, one of my neighbours does but I'd never tell him it's rubbish and compare it to someone banging a bin lid.
  6. I'd take that. Unfortunately I won't be able to go to Tannadice for the match. After being up at Pittodrie, another away match so soon won't be popular with my other half so I'll have to settle for checking updates on t'internet.
  7. I don't find Dawn French funny but fancy her a bit. Does that make me a bad person?! She's actually a better actress in my opinion when playing non-comedy roles. I feel the same about her ex-husband Lenny Henry. I don't find him funny either but did see him in an episode of "Doctor Who" and a one-off drama which was part of a series of dramas about the "Windrush Generation" and he was good in those. So in summary, I don't find Dawn French or Lenny Henry funny but she is not bad looking.
  8. Please show proof of this! You won't be able to as I haven't posted any "confused smilies." Here to help, whenever I can!
  9. At last you post something that's true: anyone wanting to "follow you around" "must be desperate for company"! Fortunately, it wasn't me that started this little obsession, you did when you took a screenshot of my profile and posted it in the forum! As for arranging a date, I'm already spoken for and even I'd I wasn't, I can tell you're not my type from the brief interactions I've had with you and having read your interactions with others. The people you seem to call "fools" etc., surely can't all be wrong?! Maybe that's something for you to think about?
  10. Oooft! That's a kick in the balls right enough, something I'm guessing you're used to receiving 😜! Seriously though, unlucky. 😉

Going by his posts towards me he clearly thinks he's important enough to "follow"! Maybe he genuinely believes the CIA, FBI and others are actually after him! The truth is out there...

Are you trying to be like Catherine Tate's "Lauren"?! "I'm not bothered"? A very strange reply. I'll leave you to it.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I actually selected "sad faces", not "confused faces" for certain posts, as is my right as a forum user, because I believed those posts warranted a "sad face". Maybe if you and others were less abusive of your fellow St. Mirren supporters (I presume you are a St. Mirren supporter if you are using this forum) I wouldn't have given you "sad faces"? Positivity towards the Club, the management, the team as well as fellow fans costs nothing.
  14. I've always been a fan of Ethan Erhahon, he's technically a good player and, while he's had spells of not being as good as I thought he should be, I think he's really kicking on this season so far. I'd like him to add goals to his game though as he has proved he can hit them, the screamer at Pittodrie during lockdown comes to mind? Whatever has changed, I hope he keeps it up and ends up being a source of considerable income for us in the future. I have to remind myself he's only about 21 I think? He's been involved with the first team for ages!
  15. Well done to the team. They played well and fought hard, putting their bodies on the line and putting in hard but fair tackles. I've been very impressed with Mark O'Hara and Jonah Ayunga so far. Jonah has a bit of trickery about him that seems to cause opposition defenders problems and his workrate is superb. I think if the team manage to get that workrate and performance more often than not, we'll be ok.
